@IncomeSharks How do you think about adjusting sell targets in this situation? I hit target 1 on a few assets ahead of the sell off, debating whether to reset targets or hold the line (but seems the former is a better option). Thank you for what you do, learned a lot!

If you are having a harder time trading stocks that's because the conditions have changed. We went from nice trending periods to chaos with most of the moves happening after hours causing gap city. The sell off on October 10th is when the environment changed.

First it was overly formal emails with em dashes. Then tweets and blog posts with oddly perfect grammar. Now people are starting to speak like chatbots. AI is changing our language faster than anything I’ve ever seen.

@artnome Know the power and how to use it. But learn when not to use it. Unless it’s for fun or I’m in a crunch, I stopped using LLMs for first drafts. I lose the soul, as you put it. Because writing is thinking: nature.com/articles/s4422…

I think soul is maybe the wrestling with ideas we go through as writers and artists. The care we put into sharing that journey with others. I think people are pretty well attuned to when there was no struggle, no journey, and they are just being fed gloss.

I’ve tried writing a new essay a few times in the last year. I don’t like how they read when I use ChatGPT as a tool to assist and yet I can’t imagine going back to the writing the old way without these new AI tools.
