@chrisluxonmp No tweet about St Patrick’s Day, despite 20% of Kiwis having Irish ancestry But yet another Muslim tweet, despite only 1.5% of people in New Zealand being Muslim Talk about pandering

As Ramadan comes to a close, I acknowledge all those who have observed this important time of reflection, fasting, and devotion. Eid al-Fitr is an opportunity to come together with family, friends, and community. Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating.

Disappointing turnout in Canberra for what should’ve been a blockbuster clash with the best of Australia vs the best of New Zealand in Super Rugby. Especially on a record-breaking night for one of their favourite sons. Bad #SuperRugbyPacific #BRUvCHI #Rugby

@EerykMcRae You seem to be one of those deluded fools who thinks government can provide you a perfect life. Here’s an idea, get a job, stop complaining and improve your own life.

The biggest take away from today's Curia poll is that over 60% of New Zealanders still support the uni-party. When will people realise voting for the same two parties who time and again fail to improve our lives, won't deliver better outcomes?

@ChalynRugby @JacquesJakkals Difference is that Ellis park is in a trash infested criminal area If you walk alone from Ellis park to your car 500m away then theres a 70% chance you meet a guy with a weapon robbing you What's the excuse for every single SR game?

@ChalynRugby Well we have played both SR and URC, unlike you lot. We are thriving in URC and not just with the time zone. NZ in particular is struggling without SA opposition (they miss us and they should) So we will talk about it, whilst being awesome and also double World Champs :)

South African fans flooding the comments section on anything Super Rugby related while no All blacks or Wallabies fans gives a shit about URC tells you everything you need to know. #SuperRugbyPacific

If it’s fair to recognise English as an official language of New Zealand alongside Maori, then it is also fair to recognise White New Zealanders as an official people of New Zealand alongside Maori.

@TheZeitgeistNZ Yes. That’s what I was saying to you. Your beef is with immigration, or in particular non-white immigration. Just state that rather than rabbiting on electoral seats.

@ruapuke13 The point is that immigration and democracy are intertwined. Change the voters and you change the type of politicians and policies that get voted in. Whatever problems the Maori seats cause in this regard are basically nothing compared to the changes caused by immigration.

The Maori seats debate is fiddling while Rome burns. There are 7 Maori seats. If we don’t fix the immigration crisis, there will be many more than 7 Indian, Chinese, Filipino & Pacific seats. Whether or not there are 7 Maori seats is simply irrelevant in the face of this.

@TheZeitgeistNZ You have a problem with immigration. That’s fine. Have that fight. But that had nothing to with the right to vote. The only race based seats are Maori seats. But you for some unknown reason are implying there are other Seats reserved for specific ethnicities.

@ruapuke13 Actually I do. The problem is you fail to appreciate the electoral effects of immigration and diversity.

We must Restore. We must Conserve. We must Defend. New Zealand needs an alternative way forward, but we must be willing to ask for it. We must elevate those within our nation to lead us through the troubled times ahead and turn the political establishment on its head.

The poor attendance of Super Rugby games says more about the economic state of New Zealand than declining public interest in the sport.
