@d_tao Won multiple times, dreams is just busted as well as terravore/oath. Post board you have tutor, orb and warmth. You cut library and wasteland

Joao actually got 2nd and the replenish player won. However he still had an amazing run and I’ve been helping him prepare for this event with Terrageddon and have been sharing lots of stuff from my soon to be done primer with him. It was awesome to see it pay off!

@ha_lista I really am getting closer and closer. Keep thinking I’m gonna get there but sometimes I don’t have as much time or writing something that I thought would take 30min takes 2 hours. I wanna say I can get it done this week but if not, I’d be surprised if it took more than 2 weeks.

@CamargoFelipe1 O que estou destacando é exatamente a quebra de tendência. Um "viés de otimismo" genérico produz erro de nível, de magnitude, mas não uma mudança qualitativa no comportamento da série. É preciso entender melhr o motivo da ruptura na tendência circa 2010s

@CamargoFelipe1 Entendo. Mas no caso demográfico, o consenso independente também revisou para baixo: IHME, Goldman, Allianz, Fernández-Villaverde. Não é viés de um órgão. E dados observados, não apenas projeções, mostram a aceleração. No fim, nenhum dos fatores discutidos aqui exclui os outros✌️

Essas explicações modernas para queda da taxa de fertilidade não sobrevivem aos dados. A maior parte da queda aconteceu dos anos 50, quando estávamos no pico, para os anos 90. Nem tínhamos celulares/Internet ate então. A verdade é que migramos para um mundo em que a tecnologia proporcionou um avanço civilizatório no direito das mulheres, que agora trabalham e controlam quando engravidam com muito mais facilidade do que no passado. Importante lembrar também dos direitos relacionados à identidade de gênero e sexo. O mundo que encaramos hoje é um mundo em que esses avanços geram importantes consequências no crescimento populacional, em que a população média será mais velha e só vai ter filho quem realmente sempre quis ter.

@CamargoFelipe1 Se projeções fossem só ruins, não errariam sempre na mesma direção, mas entendo o argumento. Creio q são sintoma de q modelos subestimaram algo. Apps podem conectar alguns e reduzir a formação de casais no agregado, seu caso não refuta o padrão. Parabéns sinceros pelo casamento!

Projecoes ruins / vies de otimismo. Muitas coisas da vida pratica dependem dessas projecoes para funcionar: tabelas atuariais para previdencia, seguros, projecoes de contas publicas, etc. Uma explicacao mt mais simples e elegante na minha opiniao do que a sua ae. Hoje sou casado e se tudo der certo terei filhos com uma esposa que conheci pelo celular, em um aplicativo de relacionamento.

@Cyberpunker9 Understood, that’s what I felt when I played. All other matchups seemed interesting, StifleNought so often boils down to what you said in many matchups. Versions with white would have Meddling Mage and StP which are good against them, but the UG(r) version seems more consistent.

Yes it is hard. Survival is important. If they don't have turn 2, then survival can get bouncer and drake. Daze on turn 2 stiflenought is also devastating for them. Regarding turn 2 stiflenought with foil or daze backup, all decks in the format cannot handle that hand if they have foil or daze backup. We just have to try our best. If they just have a broken hand, nothing we can do.

Get them low enough ideally so that even if they Stiflenought, they cannot attack you without risking lethal backswing. Get Waterfront Bouncer down ASAP. You have to guess / read their hand. If you think they have Daze, then you need to play around it. Otherwise, jam turn 2 Bouncer. Because it buys you 1 turn, even if they Stifle the 1st Unsummon trigger, you still get 1 more turn. Counter their 12/12, not their Stifle/Vision Charm unless they are tapped out. Counter Gush if you have extra counterspells for Stiflenought. Get Survival out ASAP to go for Mage or Bouncer or Drake.
