@Angry_Staffer The privacy of health, financial transactions records of sitting senators was abused from the beginning to the corruption and insider trading of today. It is long past time to repeal this egregious affront to the 1st Amendment. Repeal protection of senators data

Next #SAPSapphireOrlando session includes discrete manufacturing, energy/natural resources, smart factory. That is a great set of topics! Hopefully they are great stories...stories are more important than bullet points

@LadyDenMar @MrSmilingDeath @natsechobbyist So viable semen and eggs should be protected and male masturbation made illegal? What is viable? In my view the person close to an undefined moral issues consequences has the right to make those decisions.

@MrSmilingDeath @natsechobbyist A viable human being is one that given the chance and choice, would grow to become a baby which can live on its own. Age of viability is even 20-21 weeks.Babies born even before halfway through the pregnancy survive given the right care. What about those who abort at 4,5 months?!

@wombling @lukemarson Exactly. Imagine implementing core hybrid then being sold ECP then finding out that a next gen payroll is coming. If you have a successful core hybrid can't imagine your backend payroll is so bad that you need to reimplement payroll on ECP for a 5 year(?) horizon.

Honest question: if a company has implemented Employee Central/SAP HR Payroll, is there really business value in going to ECP? I realize there may be an S4/HANA upgrade required for the backend, but reimplementing on ECP seems...overkill?

@SteveBogner so much complexity in payroll systems, both IT systems and the overall payroll system of people and processes, is reactive solving issues that have already happened. Many times the solutions fix symptoms not root cause. That’s a petri dish for low/no value complexity.

So when companies bemoan the complexity of their payroll, look at where that complexity comes from and go after it. New systems won't make it go away, outsourcing won't really do that either. You get what you ask for. 2/2
