@romeo_bade @axelroode @Memeland @pain Why can't I just get my SOL back? I don't understand. I think they don't even try to help. 😓
English

@romeo_bade @axelroode @Memeland @pain Yeah since the pain presale. Like 10months.
Thought pain team just gonna send me back as support first told me I just have to wait. So I thought I'd be good :(
English

@axelroode @Memeland @pain Y, I know now. I learned the hrd way. I just thought memeland had a wide audience and was trying to combine web2 and the non crypto folks. If the post is written like that, it should be safe. I can't be the only stupid person who thought to just send money from a cex. I lost 5sol
English

Based on the information you provided, it doesn’t look like a rug—just a lack of information. That’s why I always try to do as much DYOR as possible before making any move.
Crypto projects have very little in common with regular Web2 services, where support can help in situations like this. In 99.9% of cases in crypto, nobody helps you, simply because of the nature of the space.
How much SOL did you lose?
English

@axelroode @Memeland @pain I have a screenshot of the transaction, the code, etc. At least it must be possible to just give me my SOL back or?
I know I'm stupid, but I can't be the only one, right?? Since then I´m in MAX PAIN as it was a lot of money for me.. Feeling left alone from meme fam. :(
English

@axelroode @Memeland @pain Unfortunately, I didn't have this knowledge back then, and there was no information. I wrote a lot of tickets to find out what happened, only to be told that it wouldn't work from a cex and that I was just unlucky. The "money" should be gone..

A New Chapter and a Heartfelt Thank You!
After years of building connections and collaborating with creators and developers across Web3, I’ve recently been made redundant from my role at @futureverse. I am thankful that all the value I created lived outside the company walls and lives on in the communities, content creators and developers who continue to build on what we started together. For a long time, I couldn’t speak publicly due to a company-wide speaking restriction, but that’s now lifted and I look forward to embracing my voice again. Communicating with the same charisma, confidence, and purpose that first brought us all together.
This experience has been one of the greatest teachers of my life and provided the opportunity to turn many areas of myself which I considered to be weaknesses into strengths. Not being able to speak publicly or rely on my usual energy gave me the space to develop and plan more strategically and find quieter ways to create impact, facilitate introductions and grow the ecosystem and for that I am deeply grateful.
To the employees of Futureverse who showed up every single day, gave 100%, and poured your hearts into what we were building, I’m proud to have worked alongside you. You showed integrity, creativity, and resilience through some of the toughest moments any team could face. Please know you did nothing wrong and shouldn't feel ashamed of the situation we are now in. You should stand tall and hold your heads high, because you gave everything you had and more. The challenges we faced were not your fault and your contributions will always matter deeply to me. I have no doubt that each of you will go on to do incredible things. If you ever need me, I’m here.
To all the builders that I am so fortunate to have worked alongside @RCADIAHQ, @TribeCalledRex, @TheShillverse and @0xASMedia just to name a few. You were the ones that stood by me when things got tough and are now the ones who continue to shape this network, keep going. It takes real courage to build on new ground, to push forward when the path isn’t yet clear, but you’ve proven that spirit over and over again. I’ll keep supporting your journey in every way I can and as new doors open for me, I’ll be looking for ways to open them for you too.
And to the community, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Without you, none of this would have been possible. I started as community and I return to community but the truth is, I never really left. I’ve always been one of you. To the content creators, educators and voices who helped guide, inform, and inspire others, @BildoVerde, @maxpoker247, @Schillerverse, @DCBK2LA and so many more. You supported me as I supported you and together we built something bigger than any single company. Keep lifting each other up and I look forward to joining you on stage again soon to share in our story.
Finally, to @shenxcrypto and the team at @Gen3Labs When I first met Shen I knew immediately he was someone special. A builder and developer whose passion, knowledge and expertise would become crucial to The Root Network’s evolution, but one thing I value far more than any of that is his friendship and that of their whole team. I also want to give a special thanks to Brian @MagicMtBear and Richie @QTRichieRich who went above and beyond to help navigate every block and hurdle this team faced while onboarding to The Root Network ultimately paving the way for other developers to follow. Please everyone continue to support them and @TRNLabs as @TheRootNetwork enters its next phase of decentralization. They will need you now more than ever.
I am genuinely excited for what is ahead. If you’re looking for someone who brings critical thinking, charisma, and genuine connection to your team or you would like to connect with any of the amazingly talented Futureverse employees who are now also in the same unfortunate position as myself please send me a DM or reach out on LinkedIn.
Much love to you all 💚

@MoMetaMedia @futureverse thanks mo, you are a legend. atleast u gave me smthg 😭❤️
English

@ruksta4 @futureverse You don’t need to delete as your feelings are valid and there are many including myself who participated in everything that was offered and feel the same disappointment. 🐾
English

@MoMetaMedia @futureverse Note: I'm gonna delet3d later anyways. Felt good to pour out my heart. As you seem like the only one who is left and take responsibility of this great team.
English

@MoMetaMedia @futureverse Oh so sad you lost your job 😭 who tf cares.. I'm one of the 80 idiots who did everything, every quest, poured my life and savings into and really believed in this tEaM..
May not your fault you one of the few good ones. I'm just destroyed and devastated...
English

I think I’m going to forever have PTSD over this Futureverse thing..
So many people (myself included) were devastated by it.
I honestly don’t know what to say about it.
Announcements of Shibuya City having a Ready Player One themed virtual experience, FC Barcelona signing a deal with them, PFL deal, Animoca Brands saying they were going to integrate Futureverse tech into their 400 games/experiences a year ago, Story Protocol deal, the list goes on.
It sorta felt that every launch was done purely as proof of concept but then not marketed.
The promotional videos they produced were phenomenal but the experiences felt short. And with that I guess they weren’t able to generate any meaningful revenue.
As soon as something launched it was almost instantly dead.
I had figured they’d have a respectable runway with how many funds and people were helping support it, alongside these major partnerships.
It’s a really tough pill to swallow.
I’m thankful for the connections I’ve made with so many of you.
There’ll be a lot of people who completely leave the Web3 space because of this and it’s the sort of thing that I fear so much about the stigma against crypto.
At this point I’m just yapping but what a ridiculous turn of events.
