I was notified this morning this piece contains traced work, as well as another commission wip that was also done by this artist was traced as well. I will be making a new intro post containing a new art piece. I am extremely sorry, I do not condone this behavior. I am unsure how I will proceed considering my 1.0 3D model was also done by a reference sheet from this artist. i am currently in a dispute with paypal regarding and have attempted to get a full refund. I am really sorry this has been extremely depressing to learn about this morning. I did confront Valak this morning that ended up with him just deflecting. I do not want to make a callout post, but the conversation can be dmed upon request. Again, I am really sorry. Thank you for those who reached out. I really appreciate it.

hi, um, if someone is tracing art whether it be ai or tracing over someone else's work very blatantly, what is the best course of action? do i ask for a partial refund, or do I just do a full charge back? i messaged them after concerns I saw on twitter, and someone reached out to me regarding one of the poses just being straight up traced of their comission. And I am not really sure what to do... sorry if this is not the place to ask. i am just genuinely dumbfounded on how to proceed... i paid 1k and am in the process of getting another comission from said artist that is tracing and they have pretty much bar for bar line for line traced over another persons comission. thanks for the help, i am also talking to artists friends about it as well. I just do not know what to do....

thank you so much i really appreciate it. i can't get refunded for everything due to the amount i commissioned and these dating back to 2024, but I can at least get this banner refunded, he charged $1090. then had the nerve to tell me that the work was just similar when called out.

i am hoping to get refunded since it was within 30 days of payment and 180 days of payment. I am extremely furious because both I and my community commissioned him multiple times. I can't get refunded as they fall outside the 180 window from my understanding. I sadly already have a model that I am unsure if it is or isn't traced and I used it for pretty much an entire year and I don't even know what to do about it. Also sorry for venting its just like glakmrglkamerlker GOD.
