13 months ago, I lost my job. I became incredibly sick, shortly after. Over 390 days, ERs became revolving doors. I focused on recovery, healing the mind, body & soul. And today, I’m happy to report… that this journey is coming to a close—I was made a formal job offer 🥳

I felt really seen, validated and heard tonight at an existential level tonight. It’s rare somebody holds complexity without flinching, self-projection or avoidance. To find a friend who practices agape… I really just wanted to celebrate that win.

One of the best feelings happened today. As many know, I've been working on a brand new axis of information theory. Not only did I learn I have 200 downloads on my FIRST preprint, but also that my work is officially being used by others now. I was literally fist-pumping 🥹

One truth about the world, is that there is no such thing as a kind person. There are only people, who choose to do kind things. The distinction is simple, with rippling consequences. Yet few on earth actually make the observation.

When your world revolves around love, empathy, and presence—what you value is treated as optional. Simply because, it doesn’t scale. It doesn’t convert cleanly into power, status, or safety. They’re not made for the self-obsessed games, most have yet to realize they’re playing.

I don’t believe in god. but our car breaking down directly in front of an O’Reilly Auto Parts in the middle of nowhere… felt like a pretty aggressive rebuttal.

Why is shedding the ego weird? You’re present, no longer hungry for approval. Without chase, others confuse not being able to listen with being ignored. Friends miss the “old” you—even trying to revive the armor, rarely asking who lived beneath it. The world hits differently.

Project #3,920,303: I’ve been knee-deep in blender crafting a new base once I realized monster clay lacked basic ctrl-z support. Stoked with the progress after the most recent prototype ☺️ now to print a full scale version & foam cast. Maybe one day, somebody will buy one!

It’s a constant sense of exhilaration & terror working at the edges of AI. I’m building reasoning systems nearing human cognition without GPUs, light enough to run on a cell phone. Once @OpenAI sees they’re woefully over-engineered & thermodynamically limited, we’re in trouble.
