Documentation guidance is inaccurate My @github holds a lot of history and it especially holds the history of my entire career - it’s my portfolio( and there is endless evidence to prove I am me but I can’t even FINd where to request investigation!! And the support is useless

I sadly can’t find my recovery codes but I AM logged in to my 2FA and it should be working! I also could not find the option to request that @github Run an investigation for recovery - because I have SO much proof that I am me and am associated with my GitHub account.

@ericadamsfornyc Besides lifting having exactly 0 value in the political work, listing 135 lbs for reps with a spotter has the same amount of zero value But if you want to prove your masculinity or something, prove it by making life better for constituents? Heard it’s peak masculinity

64 vs. 33. A lifetime of hard work vs. a silver spoon. The results speak for themselves. The weight of the job is too heavy for “Mamscrawny.” The only thing he can lift is your taxes.

@JamesLaverty45 You were scared to run on National Mall, like ever? That’s wild, man. Tourists definitely can be scary sometimes though. Blocking the paths with lack of spatial awareness is scary to some, I guess

Went on a run through DC tonight. Insane amount of people out doing the same. Cops everywhere but the vibe was different. People feel safe again. Common sense prevails. Mile time didn’t.

@jenbegakis @Historiansplain Which part of DC is that? because the below = our context: - “Metro Center” = a metro downtown station near endless offices & TOURISTS - “DC metro” = DC + MD/VA area that is (~) near DC proper - “DC proper” = DC bounds only - Capitol Hill = “political” if work is referenced.

Hi @wmata is the Silver Spring metro station still going to open again in September or is that going to be pushed to a future date?

- concept art for a branding advertising campaign for Chobani - concept art for branding honey campaign - magazine composition; typeface; illustration - poster art - illustration skills! From highly realistic work to creative and more generalized, Heide does some amazing work.

@sock_dem DC is a city filled with depth and history and culture, and is filled with so much current creativity in terms of art and music (if that is what you’re looking for). It is clear you have not experienced much of the city beyond downtown office buildings with this tweet.

DC is a great city, but it’s also a padded playground for young professionals. You can’t be a bohemian here; you can’t drift through cafés at night because they all close at 8; it’s not artificial but it’s not exactly real either. There is little room for chance.

I love old maps so much. Looking at Constantinople/Istanbul maps from 1400s to ~1800s, and I get to not only learn about place and size, but get an idea about architecture...

Something about that is why we love pictorial symbols. Salient landmarks, visual texture, connection... idk! I am sure someone has studied THAT in depth... the end!

oh and what's my overall point. Just... there are many facets to visual texture that older maps have that make us love them. Beyond brush strokes, ink blots, and type face, map monsters.. maybe also the curiosity and human connection of getting glimpses of that via the map
