Some more footage of the missed turn at the USATF Half Marathon Championship in Atlanta at the intersection of Nelson Street and Ted Turner Drive. Jess McClain is clearly just following the lead vehicle, like anyone would in her position. All the "you should know/memorize the course if you're a pro" discourse is ridiculous.

Imagine two families, each with three children. One set of parents work. The others don’t. If Labour lifts the two child benefit cap, the working parents will need to earn £71,000 to match the family on benefits. We shouldn't tax the hardworking to pay for the non-working.

@stevemagness I don't agree with this at all. ALL my HS buddies were faster than me in a sprint. They were cricket, rugby, tennis players. Luke Warhurst beat Hobbs in a 60m Shot putters are faster than 1500m runners in a 40m. Rich Kenah (1.43 800 man) and John Godina raced, and John won.

The general public doesn't understand how fast most distance runners are A high level 1500m runner can out sprint all but a few skill position players on a typical HS football team Distance runners don't have elite speed But they have more than the majority of other athletes

We're capping ground rent at £250. That means if you are a leaseholder, and your ground rent is more than £250, you’ll be paying less. This will make a huge difference to homeowners and will ease the cost of living for people across the country.

This morning I ran 12 miles at an easy pace. Garmin chest strap: 113 avg HR. Whoop: 171 avg HR, 197 max HR, 40 min in Zone 5. Whoop is completely useless for heart rate during runs. This is not a small error. This is garbage data. What a joke.

@JohnGoldman It’s all rubbish. Fitness doesn’t correlate to predictions. The @Strava algorithm really needs some work. For context I ran a 2:33 marathon at the top of that fitness chart back in October

Reminder that Garmin and Strava really have no idea what they’re talking about with the data they show you.
