@bobblesTSmith @Lorian_H In AB, maybe 6 months once you have actually had your assessment done. 18-24 months to GET the assessment after initial referral received (my referral went in in July and still haven’t even had acknowledgement of referral… College standard = contact within 2 weeks!

@MetisMamaMB Sorry to hear this - I haven’t had an issue with the 2 Edmonton stores I’ve been to. Sometimes it has been very busy in the south store and can be hard to find an available person to assist me, but I don’t believe it was ever due to my gender.

In my occasional, random posts on Canadianisms: it's amazing that despite the relentless influence of US entertainment shows - including the fantastic E.R. - many many Canadians still refer to the Emerg (though I never know how to spell it). Does any other country use this term?
