@HeroFletch They’re kinda reverse mirrors, someone who helps push Deku further vs someone who resists Shigaraki and AFO even after defeat.

Actually think both are good plot device characters... I think I'll forever be in the minority that truly loves Star & Stripes.

I already have a very long list of live action characters (movies + series) I want to transcribe into the Duel Links style. But do you guys have ideas? Anyone you'd like to see in the yugioh universe? :D

@hayannoran I’m very arc five since the beginning. For the Zexal siblings I use the dub names. The fifth animated series goes nicely with the seventh, in that it seems to be aware of it.

Lrt I was wondering abt that. Like III is three and IV is four but V is just. V. Yknow. Like I thought that was ?? But to be fair im also one of those people who pronounces Arc-V as Arc-Vee rather than Arc-Five so

@Touyarokii The Sandgem one has a sibling, and one of them has to be canon. May Birch vs Norman’s daughter is super weird and inconsistent just to note.

Just realised May is the only pokemon protagonist who has ever been confirmed to have a sibling (even if not game canon)

@hayannoran The anime legacy support has been the thing keeping me interested in the paper game, since big lore isn’t doing it for me.

I dont think anime only fans are *obligated* to be interested in the tcg and people can like ygo any way they like, BUT I will say that after starting to build a gimmick puppet deck on MD my opinion of IV's sadistic tendencies started to change because this is fun af 😭

@kamenWritter @ClearWingDuel Then scale his loadout and you can let him draw anything. Presume his opponent does anything but completely brick. It requires later support, DSoD at least.

@ClearWingDuel You are treading the scenario as a competitive card game when in reality is a battle shonen where cards are used as representation of a power system.

@Shorttempered30 I was crestfallen these were set to be promotional shorts, cause I was ok with a lore anime at first. I prefer dueling ones, but if Chronicles had more content to be honest I’d probably keep up with it nonetheless.

I’m watching Yu-Gi-Oh Chronicles on YouTube right now and it made me think…. Why the hell don’t they just do an entire anime around all the card lores? Like seeing dogmatica cards animated is so freekin sick! It would make a great anime!
