Ready for last marathon in my 40s. Fancy dress is a feature of #BeerLoversMarathon. Couldn’t find a Superman costume so Wonderwo Mann will have to do. Trying to convince my wife to swap bibs so I can go full braless brah. Looking forward to those 16 beer stops tomorrow…

The best way to explore a city is to run around it. It was a glorious spring day, about 7C with refreshingly icy winds off the River Meuse. I was the only person we saw wearing a t-shirt. There was however one massive culture shock. People in Liege speak French and are friendly.

@adamlipschitz Did check (there not even any award winning 2:20 marathoners on the flight either). If I was on the same flight I would have posted that I was the 3rd fastest marathoner on the flight as I reckon you could do a victory lap after your marathon and still finish ahead of me! 😀

Emirates flight to Belgium for the Beer Marathon was pretty empty so decided to do the #LipschitzChallenge... Can confirm that I was the fastest male marathon runner on the plane (my wife reckons she can take me these days). 😀

@cindylees1 @adamlipschitz I have seen a lot of bewildering and illogical decisions from KZNA over the years but that was a pearler. Am eagerly awaiting this years awards to see which 2:20 marathoner Mkasi picks.
