Singapore is actually the best place to practice Chinese, imo 1. Everyone speaks a bit of broken Chinese, so I don’t feel too bad about mine 2. I can always switch to English without anyone judging me for it

I have Lads staked way back, and can’t be bothered to unstake and sell unless I’m completely broke. I think Backpack has a real shot at meaningful market share long term but it has legs so I’m fine holding and adding a small $bp moonbag to see how things play out in a few years.

For Lads holders, if this is a large part of your capital especially if you were betting on the airdrop and are now low on liquidity it may be worth cutting and reallocating into something with better short-term momentum. If it’s small, then it’s less of a concern.

The NFT era is over, and that’s something we have to accept and move on from. The phase where you could just buy, hold, and expect to get rich from an airdrop is gone.

Thinking this is the TGE price for @Backpack? How naive. They’re running a Perpetual Pre-Market with zero tokens in hand. Low liquidity makes manipulation easy. Trying to convince a 3-year loyal community that the FDV is just $300 million is a joke!

Backpack TGE in a week. What may Backpack FDV be after TGE? In my opinion: Open: $1B FDV Dip: $700M–$800M Even at $1B FDV, total airdrop value is only $250M. If we assume 25% selling (75% holding & staking), that’s just $62.5M or likely less. With 20% equity allocation to one-year stakers, FDV below $1B looks like a steal. I believe Backpack FDV must be above $1B before future seasons start. Let’s assume 10% for the next season after TGE over 6 months: Season rewards: $100M (10% at $1B FDV) Total volume: $180B ($1B daily volume × 6 months) Reward per volume is only 0.055%, barely above tier-1 taker fees. Ofc airdrops are cheese on top, but retail will always rotate to platforms with higher reward-to-volume ratios. This is just only my opinion, I still believe in Backpack for fully compliance exchange. But only supporters can't make the exchange succeed, the best outcome is win-win for exchange and users. Backpack TGE: Would you take the $BP tokens, or a Lad that you had to lock-stake for a year then burn for equity?

@CelesteWAO My deepest condolences for the loss of your grandma. She must've been an amazing person. Seeing how wonderful you are, I’m sure she played a big part in shaping you. Wishing you strength during this difficult time, and hoping she is now in a peaceful and beautiful place.

It's with a very heavy heart I'm sharing this… my grandma passed away. She wasn’t just my grandmother, she was a piece of my world. Someone who always guided me, supported me & believed in me even during the times when the world didn’t. Her love was quiet, warm, and constant… the kind of love that makes you feel safe no matter what. As I was taking care of her, it never felt like it would end so suddenly. I always believed she would recover… I kept hoping she would get better. But I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. The last few days have been very hard for us. She was having trouble breathing, and watching her struggle like that broke my heart in ways I can’t even explain. Every time I saw her like that, I felt a pain inside me that words simply cannot describe. Right now my heart feels shattered. It truly feels like a part of me left with her. I just pray that wherever she is, she’s finally at peace. And maybe someday, in another life, I’ll get to see her again. You guys have always been more than just followers to me. Many of you have been like friends… like family… a pillar of strength in so many moments. That’s why I wanted to share this with you all. Because of this, I might not be here for a few days. I’m still trying to process everything that just happened and it’s very overwhelming emotionally. I just need a little time to sit with this loss and slowly gather myself again.
