To succeed, failure must exist. Minor setbacks set you up for major comebacks. The beginning is only the beginning for a reason, and the future holds success with the right amount of effort.
If what I am hearing is true, OCE will not be having a main stream again.
Last year at was full of exciting storylines; A team of inexperienced players winning an event after years of dominance from the same 5-6 players recycled. A buzzer beater all-or-nothing game 7 thriller to secure 3 LANs at once. All that were broken to the masses with just a Liquipedia update.
All they had was a community broacast funded and produced by @FortressMelb (IIRC). OCE has been a core part of the esport for close to a decade now. The results haven’t been the best, but to see it crumble due to negligence is saddening.
@RLEsports If this is true, please reconsider it. Not just for OCE, but APAC or any other developing region 🙏
That’s the end of competitive rocket league for me. Super grateful to have had so many incredible experiences as a player and a coach. Will always appreciate anyone who’s ever supported me throughout the last 7 years ❤️
