Nathaniel Chalobah scored Wednesday's first goal of the season at Leicester and shouted "That's for you" into the away end. He's just scored here and motioned the same thing to the home fans. #SWFC🦉

This might be Nathaniel Chalobah's last game for Sheffield Wednesday, and after what he's had to go through on the injury side of things I couldn't be more delighted that it's him who's scored today. Hillsborough erupts. What a moment. #SWFC 🦉⚽️

Every scarf handed out in the pissing rain. Every late night planning, arguing, pushing, not knowing if it’d even land. Black and gold everywhere. Projectors lighting up Hillsborough. Aeroplanes. Digi vans Leaflets Marches Late entrances Tennis balls Whistles Tai embassy Massive banners Black Balloons More leaflets More WatsApp groups than points Boycotts that hurt to stick to. Not buying shirts for our kids. Thousands of us stood our ground. Took the stick. Took the doubt. Kept going anyway. We raised money when it mattered. We showed the world what this fanbase is about. We backed each other when everything around us was falling apart. And now look at it. A new beginning on the horizon. A club that’s got a chance again. A fanbase that’s together, loving it’s football club. Was it worth it? Course it f*****g was #SWFC

Really like this from Sheffield Wednesday.. 🦉 They are letting season ticket holders vote for which badge they want to see the club use under new ownership. Which badge do you prefer? #SWFC

Once in a generation, everything changes and nothing is ever the same. Manchester Madgwick’s over arm button action is University Challenge’s Fosbury Flop moment. A terrible beauty is born.

@swfc This kid is different gravy, if we can get him back on loan next season and bank a load of dough it would be ideal.

Another amazing week in Sheffield with so many special moments. Every time I come here, I fall more in love with this city and its people, who have been so warm and welcoming. Great interactive Q&A with the @swfc staff at Hillsborough; their loyalty is admirable. We will restore joy and pride to the offices as we create a culture of excellence. I've been impressed with the strong civic leadership I've seen from Mayor @olivercoppard and @katejosephs. I have further enjoyed building a great relationship with Clive Betts. Also loved my time with Sheffield Wednesday Legend, @HirstyD9 who still has so much passion for the Owls. My team and I are working on so many important initiatives so that we can hit the ground running once we take over this wonderful club. Most notably; improvements to Hillsborough and the design of our kit and crest (stay tuned!😉). Had the opportunity to host a lunch at the outstanding new restaurant in the City Centre; Maria. You guys have to try it! We were joined by @LordBlunkett who enlightened us with his many stories spanning 75 years of genuine love for the club through the good times and not so. I finished my visit, stopping in at the Broomhill Tavern, relaxing over a pint with some new friends watching our match against Stoke City. I'd like to wish everybody a very Happy Easter weekend as we continue into next week heads down on this journey to rebuild this incredible football club. See you soon, David PS. was also lucky enough to find 2 vintage shirts @RagParade ... Love it! #wawaw #uto #swfc

I'm pleased that we cleared a major hurdle yesterday as we move towards our goal of taking ownership of this wonderful club by the end of the season. I'm grateful to the EFL and the administrators for such productive conversations this last week. I want you all to know that my team and I are working tirelessly, and are absolutely committed to doing everything we can to fight for the best possible outcome for Sheffield Wednesday and our incredible fans. Tomorrow, I fly back to the UK for a week of meetings with a wide range of experts to ensure we hit the ground running and deliver on our promises both on and off the pitch. I look forward to seeing many of you in Sheffield. Please do come over and say hi if you see me around town. David @swfc #swfc #wawaw #uto

@AlanBiggs1 Personally I’d like to see Henrik upstairs in a football role. Like him but guaranteed if he stays as manager and we lose a few they’ll be calls. Would rather he be above in some capacity with his knowledge from Red Bull..

Understand #SWFC’s prospective new owners have made a favourable impression on club staff, including Henrik Pedersen. The Owls manager spoke to me recently about the need for “good humans” besides “good money.” Can’t put a price on the people being “right.”

💬 “It’s a big positive for not just us as a department, but the club as a whole." After recently marking one year in the role of Head Groundsperson, we caught up with Lee Jackson who delves into the progress being made at Hillsborough 🌱 🔗 swfc.co.uk/news/2026/marc…

Before anything appears elsewhere, I want to briefly address this myself. The club has decided to bring in a new/old manager and have asked me to step aside and remain as a player. This decision makes no sense to me, a lot of my players and I’m sure a lot of others, but ultimately it’s the one that has been made. After the last 5-6 months and the work I’ve put in building this squad and creating a winning mentality with results to prove, that’s not something I’m comfortable with, so my time at Corsham has come to an end Winning 12 of our 17 games and putting the club back in a position to achieve our end goal is something I’m incredibly proud of, in my first stint at management. The lads bought into everything we were trying to build and their effort and commitment has been top class I’m gutted I won’t get the chance to finish the job I started, but it’s been a privilege working with such a great group of players, staff, volunteers and everyone involved…I thank you all @CorshamTownFC New challenge awaits ❤️
