Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.

I have now been on 9 @AmericanAir flights in the last year and NONE of them had “free wi-fi and entertainment” as they advertise. On 4 of them I asked the attendant about it and got the same answer, “It’s currently down.” Just be honest. There is no wi-fi and entertainment.

This girl was a warrior today. Caught 3 full games in mid-90s heat. She was blocking them up as hard in game 3 as game 1. Really impressive job handling the plate.

@SassyEagleUSA He should have plenty of time for rehab because he should not be playing at all. Texas Tech would not care about helping him AT ALL if he wasn’t the Quarterback they dropped $6M on.

It’s a fact of like now, unfortunately. I’m sure much more common than people think. This happened when he was playing for Indiana and Cincinnati. A fact that seems to have been forgotten. Tech is doing the best they can for Sorsby and our University. I don’t think he will ever take a snap for Tech. But, for now, we are following a court order, and getting him the help he needs.

Every student who gets in trouble at Texas Tech for plagiarism should use the President’s words against him. “It wasn’t really cheating because technology has just advanced past when that rule was created.”

@SassyEagleUSA Under no corcumstances should he be allowed to play one snap of college football ever again. EVERY college athlete in all sports knows that rule because they have a mandatory session with the athletic department compliance office annually to drill it home. He should be done.

@SassyEagleUSA You clearly don’t know ncaa compliance rules. This has nothing to do with Texas tech. He actively violated ncaa rules, which he was well aware of and admitted to. The penalty for what he did just once is a year long suspension. He did it 40 times and confessed to all of them.
