Someone sent me this photo of Ben Nevis, taken today. In the picture are several hills taller than 1000 metres. You’d be forgiven for thinking that this was taken in June, such is the lack of snow.

Carneddau on an exped over the last couple of days with a cracking group on a Mountain Leader Training Course working for Snowdonia Walking and Climbing @rustybale 🏔️ Great weather but it’s still really cold on the higher mountains.

Working on the first day of a Mountain Leader Training Course for @rustybale Snowdonia Walking and Climbing. We went up Gyrn Wigau, Drosgl and Moel Faban covering navigation in the Carneddau.

@DerekTheWeather I was on a hill at 400m near Corris today. Bit wet but hardly a breath of wind!

Highest wind gusts today associated with #StormAntoni were in the West Country. 78 mph at Berry Head near Brixham, Devon. In Wales, Milford Haven and Pembrey both recorded 48 mph. While a beacon off St Anns Head in south Pembrokeshire coast recorded a gust of 55 knots, 63 mph.

@eryrinpa @CyngorGwynedd @PartneriaethOg It is the Football club car park which were charging £10 on Saturday. They also inferred that folk had been ‘abusing’ it by actually parking there, presumably as it has now become popular as more folk know about it. Thought that’s what the idea was??
