Arvind Ajay Singh, 43, a Fijian Indian national and childcare worker, will spend just 10 months behind bars despite being found guilty of the indecent treatment of a 4 year old girl. He was also accused of digitally penetrating the girl but was found not guilty of that offence in Maroochydore District Court. She was under Singh’s care at a daycare in Brisbane. The victim's family expressed outrage over the fact that Singh was housed in a luxury apartment during his initial immigration detention. The victim’s father said the family was “absolutely devastated” by the result. “Absolutely devastated. I’d get longer if I didn’t pay my taxes” the father said. “We had to fight to get him off the streets so that he could no longer work with children again” said the child’s mother. After serving just 10 months jail, he will be deported back to Fiji. Diversity is our strength.

@ricochet_888 And term limits introduced. We currently have people making rules and never worked or lived in the real-world . Their pay should be no greater than the average wage so the impact of decisions will be felt by them just as much.

@GreenTyler27 It's a pity the RBA can't take action to turn off the tap . If they could restrict government by only a percentage of GDP any excess results in denial of funds then interest rates rises may not be needed.

The central banker is telling the truth. It’s labor’s inability to run an economy being carried by us all… The RBA can only do so much if Canberra keeps pouring fuel on the fire. When government spending stays excessive, the central bank responds with higher rates. Australians pay for it through mortgages, rents, power bills and lower living standards. Fiscal discipline matters.

An African refugee who sexually abused his niece, 9, has been allowed to stay in Australia after a tribunal found he would lose access to disability support if deported, using immigration minister Tony Burke's Direction 110 to restore his visa. He has been on the NDIS since 2020 as his IQ is in the lowest percentile.

So the frigate HMS Iron Duke is to be retired after a £105 million refit because there is no money left to keep her going. Absolutely pathetic. Leaves the navy with 5 frigates only... Labour and the Tories have criminally weakened our defences.😡

The smile, the tone, the tie, the condescending lectures… all while lying through his teeth. Promised no changes to negative gearing & capital gains tax. Now implementing exactly that. Just wow. Our PM has some serious nerve. 🤯👇🏽

Young people should be reminded that their parents’ assets are their future inheritance. Every cent the government takes off the older generation, is a cent stolen from their children and grandchildren. Inter-generational wealth is the backbone of a free society in which each generation helps the next to climb higher. This is not possible in a society where the government holds people down by resetting the game to zero. Allowing the government to redistribute private wealth creates intergenerational dependency.
