@rustyshack234 @KodaKazar @NFL @RapSheet His age injury risk and last years production all point to him getting worse not better

@KevinR70 @kathrynw5 They probably are a decent option depends on zone but honestly if you have 1 kid and can reasonably afford it, why not go private? Then NYC has top tier (free) magnet schools if your kid can get in later.

@Smileyyeg @amolitor99 @PeepsGee That is absolutely not "often". The only public transit system of major size where there is a serious problem right now is Chicago.
English

@amolitor99 @PeepsGee Americans are not convinced a world exists outside of their specific stuff.
NYC transit is not so safe by the way. Not many people are randomly stabbed to death in their cars, but you do see that in the New York Subway system fairly often.

As a person who has never driven, does not have a license, and only uses public transportation:
No.
No it is not.
Never, not once, not even a little.
I mean, really truly, not at all.
Co-op Tory 🍁@CoopTory
Good public transport is far more convenient than driving

@Smileyyeg @Miluju_Xialiang @Young_Ure Does every major system not have real time departure times accessible by phone in 2026?
English

@Miluju_Xialiang @Young_Ure Not in Europe. The same train would be on different tracks at different times of day. It seems like a lot of work.

@agraybee We will NEVER forget how leftists danced across social media to celebrate Kirk's murder. A reckoning is rapidly approaching and leftists will cry victim, wondering why no one feels sympathy for them as they are systematically removed. They'll ask: "Why is everyone cheering?"
English

The near universal liberal response to Charlie Kirk's death was "I didn't like the guy but no one deserves to get gunned down in cold blood". You assumed there was celebration because it's what you would do if Rachel Maddow was shot.

Donald Trump, at almost 80, is going to die sooner than we think. Bookmark this. When Trump passes, there will be an absolute ORGY of grotesque delight on the Left and even among moderates. They will celebrate in the streets and hold parties. It will be a macabre display, such as we've never seen yet. It will make their celebration of Charlie Kirk's murder look like your great aunt Mildred's church tea party. Mark my words.

@LDSLaw @Sunnyreads8 @FaithLikeAbish2 You seem chronically online. Get off this site for a few days and stop overreacting to the legion of political bots that manipulate people every day effortlessly.

@QuestsAbroad @dlsgame2001 All you did was describe a Minnesota goodbye.

@dlsgame2001 I’m from the US so it’s an interesting comparison for me to make since I have insight into both cultures living in Mexico City
English

The absolute best way to understand the difference between US and Mexican culture is to watch how people leave a dinner party.
🇺🇸 The US: You wait for a lull in conversation, announce to the table that it is getting late, thank the host, and walk to your car.
Total time: five minutes max
🇲🇽 The Mexican: You announce you are leaving. This initiates a new round of conversation. Ten minutes later, you stand up. Then you go to every single person in the room for a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and a small departing chat.
Total time: thirty minutes, at least
It is an entire social event you have to build into your schedule, but it’s one of the many reasons Mexican culture feels so warm and welcoming.

@FlightDeckVibes @wesamo__ Dallas is a mediocre BBQ city. Austin, Houston, Lockhart way better.
