In addition to maternity hospital, other nearby medical facilities in Odesa Primorsky district were affected by russian n@zi attack. This is my district 😭 Children's polyclinic and family outpatient clinic, more than 60 windows were shattered by blast wave, and interior doors were damaged. Look, world. This is a maternity hospital in Odesa that was targeted by a russian “Shahed” drone. At the moment of the strike, there were 32 pregnant women, 22 newborn babies, and 27 medical staff members inside. Everyone was evacuated. Including newborn twins who were on ventilators. Maternity ward in Odesa. Again. The hardest was evacuating newborn twins on ventilators. When Russian Shaheds attacked, doctors moved 33 pregnant women and 19 newborns to safety in a bomb shelter. Then helped put out the fire.

She was only 20. Killed by a russian strike while shielding her little sister with her own body. Dasha Serhienko died in the Znob-Novgorod community, Sumy region. She saved 6-year-old Zhenya — now fighting for her life in the hospital. Their parents are injured.

Today hit differently. We received a call this morning from one of our clients , someone who, despite everything, has managed to stay in accommodation with his best friend, his dog. But things took a turn when his dog was suddenly attacked. Without hesitation, he rushed him to the vet and spent everything he had… which wasn’t much to begin with. The dog is now treated, medicated, and safe. But in saving his companion, he was left with nothing. No money. No food. Just worry. He called me this morning and quietly asked if we could help with some food, but because he had no money left at all. We didn’t use charity funds for this. Instead, I personally sent him £50 so he could get through the weekend with some basic essentials. The gratitude in his voice… it’s hard to put into words. Raw. Real. The kind that stays with you long after the call ends. This is the reality for so many people living on the edge , one unexpected moment can take everything. And yet, even then, the love they have for their dogs never wavers. They will always put them first. These dogs are not just pets. They are family. They are protection, comfort, loyalty, and often the only constant in a world that can be incredibly unforgiving. Kindness doesn’t have to be big sometimes it’s just showing up when it matters most. We see you. We stand with you. Always. 🧡
