🌆 Haryana Government Accelerates Action to Resolve Gurugram’s Civic Issues 🌆 For the last five days, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Chief Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister, has been stationed in Gurugram, personally monitoring civic issues and working with local bodies, officials, and citizens to bring visible change in the Millennium City. 🚧 On-Ground Inspections Mr. Khullar inspected Rajiv Chowk, Farukhnagar–Basai Road and Dhankot Road on Sunday, directing officials to clear encroachments, strengthen road berms, and make roads fully motorable. He also announced that PWD will construct the Basai–Dhankot road (₹5 crore) and a new bridge at Dhankot canal (₹2.5 crore), with tenders to be floated this week. 💧 Comprehensive Drainage Plan GMDA authorities presented a detailed drainage strategy for Gurugram. Major storm water drains Leg-1, Leg-2, and Leg-3 are being connected to the Najafgarh drain to solve waterlogging. Out of 12 major vulnerable spots, improvements have already brought relief at NH-48 (Narsinghpur stretch), Rajiv Chowk, and Umang Bhardwaj Chowk. 🚰 Sewage Treatment Boost Gurugram’s sewage treatment capacity of 408 MLD will be increased to 950 MLD by 2028 with new and upgraded STPs at Bajghera, Dhanwapur, Behrampur, Sector 78, and Sector 107. 🏥 Medical College by 2025 Work is progressing rapidly on the ₹550 crore Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College & Hospital at Kherki Majra, to be completed by December 2025, featuring academic blocks, hostels, hospital wings, and a trauma centre. 🚜 Clear Roads, Cleaner City Mr. Khullar directed the officials to: ✔️ Remove stray cattle from roads (to be shifted to Kamdhenu Gaushala and Nandishala, Karterpuri). ✔️ Keep roadsides free of garbage and debris. ✔️ Penalize violators dumping or burning waste. ✔️ Ensure bulk waste generators (BWGs) manage waste at source. 👥 Officers Present During the inspections and meetings, CPS to CM Sh. Speed of PCB fab Execution in 🇮🇳 that made us get a FREE machine from Japan. Couple of years back when we were building a new PCB fab. A delegation including CEO,from a multibillion$ cos in 🇯🇵 visited our construction site. We told this plant will be functional in 3 months. After 3 months, we got an email from them saying if they can send a team to visit our plant. They came again and was surprised to see that we had already started trails in the new plant. They took a lot of photos, could see they were surprised and Joy at same time. One engineer said - "we never expected you to complete in 3 months and that the management sent him to check and confirm." He also said- "we cannot do at this speed in Japan" (I didn't know how to respond, as I admire the speed of execution in Japan in rebuilding after ww) 15 days later an email came - we want to install a very high end MultiLayer machine in your factory, free.
