Happy Labor Day! Wages and Benefits! We have created enormous wealth in America over the past 40 years. The problem is we have not shared enough of that wealth with the people that go to work every day. We need to get back to the basics of talking about the American Dream, where hard work is rewarded with wages sufficient to guarantee a home, health insurance, children's education, and retirement security.

I am proud to have stood with organized labor as Supervisor, and I will continue to stand with labor in Congress. Together, we will move forward in the fight for fair pay, good benefits, and safe working conditions. Happy Labor Day to all the workers in NY-04!

In this election, our rights are on the line: reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, civil rights, and voting rights. We have to retake the House to reaffirm Roe and reinvigorate the Voting Rights Act and Civil Rights Act.
