@TheGamingAlwin It’s addictive man I’m telling you! Even if you keep dying you want to go back for more. It’s that old school die and retry mechanics that makes it so special

@rxpharmacytech I never played SC1 or SC2 (SC2 is still in my backlog), but from the footage shown here, SC3 really leveled up visually. I played one level this morning. It's tough, but once you complete a level, it's super rewarding!

@ArcadeHalf Exactly! 💯 taking risks and making games we WANT to make! 🦾 Not working for a big studio who is just looking for a quick cash grab and misleads gamers while they sell you some crap game lol

@rxpharmacytech More and more good VR games will come from devs that have a 9 to 5 job and do not have a limited financial runway. Kudos for pushing through and good luck on the launch.

For those of you who don’t know my story and how I got to become a VR developer here it is. So when Covid hit in 2020 I bought my kids the regular oculus quest and everybody was stuck at home on quarantine so all we did was play VR. I’ve always been a gamer my whole life so once I threw that thing on my face, I was immediately blown away by how magical it felt. That same magical feeling I got as a kid playing Nintendo for the first time that I haven’t felt in years I felt once I put that thing on my face and experienced true VR for the first time. Being in virtual reality seemed like a dream as a kid growing up in the 80s and 90s with the Nintendo and Sega Genesis and everything else. I was so blown away by how it felt but at the time most games felt like small experiences rather than full-fledged games. Either you stood still and would just shoot or it was a shooter on rails. Upset with the lack of good VR games I took it upon myself to learn how to develop games for VR myself! 🦾 I taught myself everything, even how to code. I wasn’t even a developer I was just a gamer who was blown away by VR that much that I decided to try and re-create one of my favorite childhood games (Mega Man) in VR and so the system critical series was born. I have learned a lot since part one up until now to be honest and the reason the last two games were lacking a lot of stuff was solely only because I just didn’t know how to do it. I didn’t know how to program an options menu with different options and all that I’m not a Dev I’m just a gamer but now I know how and I do consider myself a developer now! 🦾 Moral of the story follow your dreams regardless I had so many countless nights of no sleep up at three in the morning trying to figure out how to program something with no knowledge of even how to do it. I work a regular full time job and support a family and 2 kids and yet still I found time to work on this passion project. I love all my fans, and I appreciate each and every last one of you. I really hope that my work shines in System Critical 3! 🦾

@rxpharmacytech Wow, that's fucking awesome, dude! You are really inspirational as I sometimes wonder how can I make a game? I would love to make a game, but I'll try it when I retire soon, just like you did.

Blade & Sorcery won't run natively on the Steam Frame due to performance limitations, so it's being marked as unsupported to avoid misleading users. The developers say PC streaming works well and they're hoping to share more updates in the future.

@Gen_X_Geek Thanks man! 🙏 ya I’m not even a Dev! lol I mean I am now 😂 but I was just a gamer when I started. But being a gamer I know what gamers want and need especially old school ones! 🦾 that’s why System Critical is so ruthless! 🔥
