@Sendyv12 World has all kinds of people, mindset thats unimaginable for us would be normal for another person. The thing is we can't end backward mindset but what we can do is surround ourselves with people who share same energy. Like they say, you cant save the world, save yourself first.

I haven't been in a fandom before, but I will say, I've seen so many trash people that it's discouraging. I've also met some wonderful people so it hasn't been all bad. But I will no longer fully immerse myself like I did. I thought BL would be a progressive place, but it's not.

@saturn_inorbit Wait, what chapter was this line? Dyk is an unprofessional writer, I feel stupid for taking her work so seriously. Should've read it as an avg pornhwa like the TJ stans cuz it makes sense that way.

@DiceRollHua @reinavanth You really put the tragedy of Wet Sand into such perfect words, marvelous work! Wow. I'm not crying but instead I'm overwhelmed with this feeling of melancholy. I guess this is what Dyk intended her work to feel like at the end.

The argument that I*n never loved Jo (often weaponized to dismiss the most luminous chapter of the story) completely misses the emotional reality of WS. To reduce I*n’s path to a binary choice between two mls is to ignore the internal fracture that defines him. I*n did love Jo & that love wasn’t just a "hook up"; it was a radical, transformative revelation that stood in stark contrast to the formative (yet corrosive) cycle he endured with __. This love was a sanctuary. It wasn't perfect. Both had their flaws, but it was the first time I*n allowed himself to want something other than survival. While his history with __ was forged in the kiln of deep-seated insecurity, unresolved personal trauma & a distorted sense of self-sacrifice characterized by manipulation, debt & the heavy, stagnant weight of familial obligation, his connection with Jo was an ascent towards clarity. Jo offered I*n the chance to be seen (not hidden) without the prerequisite of suffering. In that space, I*n began to experience a budding rebirth, an elevation of his own consciousness...He was learning the language of reverence, which imo contrasted thematically with damnation. He looked at Jo with the same devotional awe he reserved for their stars in the end & in doing so, he began to dismantle the architecture of the man he’d been forced to become. To me, the tragedy of their separation lies not in the crushing burden of I*n’s deep-seated insecurity. After two decades of being conditioned to view love as an endurance test (& his time with his mother), I*n became a prisoner to a distorted sense of self-sacrifice. He fell into the trap of believing that he was fundamentally ruined, a corruption that would inevitably infect Jo’s light if he dared to stay. Returning to __ wasn’t an act of choosing a greater love; it was a regression into the gravity of his own trauma. Imo I*n isn’t necessarily miserable but he’s resigned. He returns to __ bc he believes he’s beyond saving. He chooses to settle into his norm as a way to pay off a debt that can’t actually be reconciled. He accepts this life bc it’s the only one he knows how to survive. He convinces himself that by taking care of __, he’s fulfilling a role he can’t escape. There is a withered, hollowed-out love for __ that persists (the kind born of long-term trauma) but it lacks the transformative power he found in Jo. The story’s conclusion is particularly cruel bc it refuses to grant I*n the mercy of autonomy. It denies him the time to heal, denies __ the requirement of a real apology & denies the audience a resolution where Ian is allowed to define himself outside of either man. Instead, the writing forces him to settle for a life where he carries the lingering ghost of the once-in-a-lifetime chance he felt like he had to abandon. Jo wasn’t a detour. He was the first person I*n loved by noticing him instead of only surviving beside him. I*n tried to stay monogamous for him, opened up to him, changed through him & tried to protect him from the world he thought would ruin him. Jo & I*n were the once-in-a-lifetime chance bc I*n was finally reaching for a love that made him feel chosen instead of kept. When I*n left, he didn’t leave bc the love died. He left bc he was terrified of what his own world would do to Jo. Jo was the emotional proof of everything I*n was giving up...the quiet domesticity, the stars, the fire & the peace outside violence. I*n can try recreating the actions, but not the mutual understanding and feelings - that belongs to him & J*. I*n carries that loss in every quiet moment. He walked away from the only person who offered him a future that wasn’t already written in the ink of his own past. He left not bc he didn’t love Jo but bc he loved him enough to believe that keeping Jo meant letting him go. Jo gave his deepest confession by telling I*n not to look back.

What does Jo have and what has he done for him to be a better man? Glad you ask 1. Jo's hot (Ian's words not mine) 2. Jo made Ian notice the smallest things in life like a flower shop on his way home from work and the beauty of decorating his room with life 3. With Jo, Ian had the chance to enjoy things he had never done before or in a long time like star gazing, watching a movie, going on a shopping date, visiting the family, having his partner acknowledge their relationship publicly with no shame. 4. Jo didn't ask, but Ian went monogamous for Jo for a while 5. Jo had personality and characteristics outside of being connected to Ian: photography, travelling, a quarterback, a hunter, a great cook, etc. 6. Jo saved both Ian AND TJ's life, they would have been dead if not for him. 7. Ian felt better whenever he saw Jo 8. Jo is not all green, he has his own streak of yellow obsession and possessiveness, which makes him a complex character and even hotter And most importantly, Jo was a bigger man and put Ian's wishes first above his own wants, letting him go when all Jo wanted to do was holding him back. That is the greatest expression of love anyone is capable of. What Jo did with and for Ian without asking anything in return within a short few months was so much more than what TJ did for Ian for 20 years, so impactful that their time became eternal memories for Ian, something that he carried with and trying to replicate with TJ in their new life. Jo is the youngest, yet the most mature and the best man in the #Wetsand universe.

7) quit the gang,to which he devoted about 15 years, to be with Ian. And what Jo has done for some to call him the man better than TJ?🤨 What exactly makes Jo better? All the privileges given to him by author?Come on. Be serious and don't embarrass yourself.

Please tell me which Indian gods you would like Japanese children to know about! There are so many wonderful gods that it's hard to choose, but the ones I'm thinking of drawing right now are Ganesha, Hanuman, Krishna, Rama, Shiva, Kali, Lakshmi, Vishnu, and Bhairava.

@IndianSoulParty That'll need the funding of Indian gov but they dont give a fuck about such stuff. A common person in their limited free time can just do this much. Those blatantly dehumanising anti India Twitter posts gets millions of views but gov does nothing to counter it supress it like CCP

That's exactly why I said propaganda should be subtle. If its in open it will be crushed by your adversaries in modern day. Especially when which is richer. If you want to real propaganda start with academics. Change the word 'Chinese' to East Asian history. Things like this are the ones you need to do subtly to influence. Like check my profile for article about china. Anti India propaganda started very subtly on 4chan at first. It then kept on growing through different social media and academic platforms. It is brutal but it's the only way. I just want us to successful in this and not lose

@IndianSoulParty And I'll say it again. The campaign was bound to die down because the Indian gov didn't provide any help any funding and at the same time CCP was panicking getting the campaign suppressed throughout social media.

@IndianSoulParty so they're able to win. Whatever we did and were able to achieve was a great achievement in my eyes and I'm proud that I was a part of it. CCP was scared enough that like a little bitch it threw a tantrum to get the campaign suppressed in Twitter else it would've grown way bigger

“Waiting for Jo at the coffee shop” actually fits Ian better than “traveling around the world with Jo.” At first glance, some people might think: “Why didn’t Ian go with Jo?” But in reality, Ian’s happiness does not necessarily come from copying Jo’s life.+
