@shdhxhejwb @whizKid_crypto_ @helium @mert @densone @abhay deployers get paid $0.50/gb worth of HNT. if HNT is $0.50 they get 1 HNT per gb. if HNT is $5 they get 0.1 HNT per gb. for Hotspot operators the price of HNT is completely irrelevant, which is why you see the network growing in every dimension regardless of the price action

@AshleyAnn717 @helium_mobile Mapping wasn’t as useful to the network as originally thought, so the community passed a HIP to redirect those rewards to deployers and Nova (50/50 split, and Nova received way more than 50% of the mapping bucket, so they’re getting a pay cut with the implementation of HIP 148).
