MILAN — Seth Jarvis has made it to the Olympics. Could his famous Winnipeg friends be soon to follow?
“I hope so. They’re trying to figure it out. It’s a tough trek for them but if they can find a way, they’ll make it out here.”
My story: winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2…
@ZachCaniac As a Vancouverite, Petey is closer to a 4th line centre then he is to a 1C on a cup contender. But with that being said I probably actually wouldn’t hate this

The #Canes are not practicing today, but Rod Brind'Amour just wrapped up speaking to the media -
• The decision to go with Max Comtois over Evgeny Kuznetsov last night was "to try and change it up a little." It is possible Kuznetsov goes back in for Game 3.
• The staff will make a decision on who starts in goal for Game 3 tomorrow. He thinks Frederik Andersen has been good but it will come down to how the veteran netminder is feeling. With that being said, he'd have no concern at all going to Pyotr Kochetkov, although he hasn't played in weeks.
• He mentioned again that he wants his team to get more inside on their power plays. Too much time is being spent on the outside.
• No new news on Brett Pesce (lower-body injury). He has not been on the ice since getting hurt in Game 2 of the first round.
@TyTobiczyk_5@BrodyAMiller If the ball bounced outside of the red line near the hazard he gets to drop the ball at that point of entry, if it bounced inside the red line (between red line and water) he has to drop back at T box hitting his 3rd, so a difference of 200+ yards
This is the second time in 8 holes we're seeing Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth get a little contentious over McIlroy's drive going into the water. Spieth is adamantly relaying from TV people that the ball bounced below the OTB line. Been a little tense back nine
@FutureCanes I’d deal Svech in this deal. Really not a guy on this team that is not on the table, but would be nice to keep two of the three: Aho Necas Svech
In all seriousness, the Canes getting Elias Pettersson without giving a package centered around Aho, or *potentially* Svechnikov, would be such a larceny that I don’t actually think it’s a possibility.
Nečas is a stud on his day, but cmon. Kotkaniemi? Oh lord.
