@JFreshHockey I guess this is something. Sens had a the 2nd highest 5v5 xGoals facing possibly the best team.

@MinorMidgetGTHL @bigheadhcky So Tampa didn't have a PPG player that year lol Either they both have PPG players that just didn't hit it in that season or neither team did. They each had career PPG players

@ryan_rivard00 @bigheadhcky Yup. I get that neither Stone or Eichel were pt/game guys the regular season that Vegas won the cup. That is why I listed them as a team that won the cup without a pt/game guy. Kucherov is a pt/game guy who didn’t play that regular season but was on TB team. IYKYK

Every playoff team's leading scorer: Edmonton: Connor McDavid | 138pts Tampa Bay: Nikita Kucherov | 130pts Colorado: Nathan Mackinnon | 127pts Montreal: Nick Suzuki | 101pts Boston: David Pastrnak | 100pts Dallas: Jason Robertson | 96pts Vegas: Jack Eichel | 90pts Minnesota: Kirill Kaprizov | 89pts Utah: Clayton Keller | 88pts Los Angeles: Artemi Panarin | 84pts Ottawa: Tim Stutzle | 83pts Buffalo: Tage Thompson | 81pts Carolina: Sebastian Aho | 80pts Pittsburgh: Sidney Crosby | 74pts Anaheim: Cutter Gauthier | 69pts Philadelphia: Travis Konecny | 68pts Is it even possible to win a Cup nowadays without a pt/game player?

@ryan_rivard00 @bigheadhcky But that season he played and didn’t. Kucherov didn’t play but was a pt/game player on their roster. Not knowing the difference is telling. IYKYK

@MinorMidgetGTHL @bigheadhcky No lol My point is you saying the knights with Stone and Eichel didn't have a PPG player is like saying Tampa didn't have a PPG player in 2021 Eichel has had 3 straight PPG seasons since (was a PPG in playoffs and regular season+playoffs) and had 2 more prior to that

@MinorMidgetGTHL @bigheadhcky So who was their regular season player that put up a ppg? Thats my point, it's clear that kucherov (and point+) are ppg players that didn't hit the mark that year I am well aware Kuch didn't play, hence 0 "ppg players" on that team

@ryan_rivard00 @bigheadhcky 2021 team that added Kucherov to the playoff roster? That 2021 team? Lol Imagine not knowing that Kucherov was added. Ignorance is bliss. IYKYK

@MinorMidgetGTHL @bigheadhcky Stone also had 38 in 43 And 3 guys had a PPG in the playoffs Also Stone has had 4 PPG seasons Eichel has had 5 PPG seasons in his last 8 seasons. He was always a PPG player Like you dont look at the 2021 lightning and go "they didn't have a ppg player"

@bigheadhcky 2022-2023 Stanley Cup Champions: Vegas Knights Regular Season Leader Eichel 66 pts in 67 games less than a point per game season So, YES, a team can win without a pt/game player.

@cadmiumfalcon @JFreshHockey I mean I'd disagree with you in general. Jagr himself says guys liek Gretz and Mario would be absolutely fine playing in the modern day nhl His reasoning? He did both ans they're better than he was

@ryan_rivard00 @JFreshHockey We’ll never know, we can just go by what we do know and if Gretz in his prime was dropped into today’s league, his skating and fitness would be sub par.

@JFreshHockey Feel like his skating be a huge limitation in terms of what he’d be able to do skill wise.

@Ali_Rashid1995 @SensBuzz I think the ship has sailed on Tuch and Lyon, the move should've been done when they were dead. Thomas and Robo are good but expensive. Thomas is a C too but I could see Robo being a really good fit with Timmy I think buffalo should try again for Thomas tbh

@ryan_rivard00 @SensBuzz Just saw Jared McCann stats pretty solid pull I would move for him if we have a chance I'm hearing Robertson and Robert Thomas and Joey Daccord that would be solid but I feel like it wouldn't be worth it to move a few of our prospects for them Alex Lyon and Tuch too solid idea

@Ali_Rashid1995 @SensBuzz Should've tried to take a stab at Jared McCann or they should've tried to do somting to get Tuch and Lyon when Buffalo was struggling

@BuffaloFreddy @jasondemers5 As he should I think I'd rather him > Hughes in playoffs. That might be a crazy take but I think he would be a bigger impact in the playoffs and more durable

@ryan_rivard00 @jasondemers5 if the Sabres go deep into at least round two this year, I think he becomes a household name and starts to get the respect he deserves league wide

If thats not average at best numbers … nothing like Homer hanky and Mom’s basement jerking off over another guy… you mean specifically how rules said to be used because the way you were cheating with your guys… Why is honesty too much for wankers like you and your mom’s basement?

Henrik Zetterberg is IMO the last time we saw a Brock Purdy level player. Drafted 210th ovr in 1999, was playing in Sweden until 2002 and then came over to the nhl and immediately put up 3 straight seasons of 40+ points. Proceeded to then tear up the league as one of the best playmaking centers in hockey on a Detroit team that made the playoffs every year and won a cup in that time. A guy no one thought anything of turned into one of Detroit’s greatest players of all time. Not bad for a 7th round pick.

THE FADING GLORY OF CANADA! 🚩 In 2010 Vancouver, Canada dominated the Winter Olympics setting a new record for a host country with 14 golds, 7 silvers, and 5 bronzes, fueled by focused investments in elite training and national unity. Under Liberal rule since 2015, policies shifted: Cannabis legalization in 2018 and open hard drug use aimed at harm reduction while overdoses claimed tens of thousands of lives. Simultaneously, millions funded DEI programs, $30M from 2018, then renewed in 2022 to promote inclusion for LGBTQIA+ groups. By 2026 Milano Cortina, Canada sits at 0 golds, 3 silvers, and 5 bronzes midway, with critics blaming diluted national focus and broken confidence rather than creating champions. Deeper woes erode national morale: Economic stagnation, record-breaking food bank line ups, with flat living standards and recession fears for 70% of Canadians. A housing crisis prices out youth, widening generational gaps and fostering disengagement. Sloppy immigration policy shifts strain resources and national security, while polarization and phony environmental threats like climate change fracture unity even more. To reclaim glory, Canada must address these social fractures by balancing reality with excellence for a resilient future.
