10 years ago today my life changed forever. On the morning of February 19th, 2015, Alto’s Adventure launched into the world. What started as a tiny passion project became something that took over my life in ways I never expected. Here’s a look back – at the highs, the wild moments and the people who made it all possible. 🏔️✨🧵

Here’s the truth: Even though I run a company deeply grounded in child development…parenting still surprises me daily. My co-founder Esther and I joke that we’re “experts,” but most days we’re just fueled by blinding passion and a whole lot of learning in real time. For the last four years of building @playpokpok, I’ve had hundreds of conversations with parents and experts from all over the world. Some were hilarious, some were heartbreaking, some were “why is my toddler licking the window?” relatable—and all of them taught us something. Not just as founders trying to build something meaningful for families, but as two mothers who are just trying to do our best without losing our minds. These chats have helped us feel seen in our insecurities, validated in our choices, and a little more grounded in the chaos of raising kids. So we decided to open them up. Welcome to We’re Doing Great, a podcast for imperfect parents—aka, all of us. Whenever Esther or I are spiralling (about parenting, work, life or everything at once), the other one says the same magic three words: “We’re doing great.” It started showing up on Zoom calls, middle-of-the-night nursing texts, and every “oh god, what now?” moment in between. Eventually, it became our mantra. Our comfort. Our superpower. And now we want to invite YOU into our little ritual. Our hope is that We’re Doing Great becomes the same powerful reminder for you that it is for us—something that carries you through the shitty days, soothes the panic-spiral moments, and celebrates the days where you genuinely think, “Damn, I am seriously the best.” Because you are. And even when you don’t feel it…you’re doing great. I hope you'll listen, share, support or just send it to a parent who needs a little lift. ♥️ Find the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify & YouTube.
