That's an interesting line from Alex Cora about giving young players extensions. "The dynamic changes though, it changes when you have a number of players under those kinds of deals." Rosenthal then frames it in a negative way.

I like the Nikola Vucevic for Anfernee Simons trade. I think it works and it should make the Celtics better. As a general concept, I just hate that sports are becoming so much more about business deals. The graphic about the Celtics salary and tax projections in June ($540M) vs February ($186.5M) it just bugs me.

Chicago, Thank you for welcoming me and my family 5 years ago. It was an honor to represent the Bulls, a historic franchise, and to play in front of some of the best fans in the world at the United Center! While I hoped we could have achieved more together on the court, I will always be grateful for my time there and for everything this chapter gave me. My family and I will truly miss this city and all the incredible people we met along the way. To the Bulls staff who I had the pleasure of working closest with - a special THANK YOU for the support, the laughs and the moments we shared throughout my time here. You all mean so much to me and those relationships will always be bigger than the game. PS… As a big foodie, I really enjoyed all the great restaurants Chicago has to offer, on a downside, you have kinda ruined it for me for me wherever else I go! @chicagobulls

@Sec_Noem This is rhetoric. And shameful rhetoric at that. They had him controlled , pepper sprayed and beat up. And they had his gun. They murdered him. - sincerely not a “radical anything”. Shame on you. Get your dogs under control this is not how you protect OR serve.

Today, DHS law enforcement was conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault. During the operation, an individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. This violence is directly fueled by hateful rhetoric from Minnesota's sanctuary politicians. It must end now.

@JDVance Watch the video. You’re a smart man. An elected official. A “diplomat”. Your agents murdered someone in cold blood. The guy was pepper sprayed , getting beat up by 7 ppl and also didn’t have his gun. They shot him 10 times. It’s disgraceful. -someone who isnt a “liberal”.

37 yr old ICU nurse Alex Pretti murdered by ICE in broad daylight with zero justification for deadly force. I mean ZERO. This feels like a watershed moment in American history that should enact change, but won't. Very reminiscent of Sandy Hook when we all said "if that didn't get us to change, we never well!" Feels like another one of those. Because if you cannot admit this was wrong you're either an idiot or a liar, and I think you're a bad person and an unAmerican asshole. The hypocrisy from the same people who have been proudly screaming about the Ist and 2nd amendment for hundreds of years now trying to say protesting and carrying a legal firearm is reason enough to be murdered...what a joke. And the response from our leaders from Donald Trump to Tim Walz is all dangerous and pathetic. Were just a 3rd world country now where masked morons with no training and a gun can kill you for no reason other than "well we won't get in trouble for it tor" Out of all the dumb entities to blindly follow be of your political affiliation, supporting ICE is by far the most pathetic. ICE agents and their supporters the biggest trash in America maybe ever

We are starting to test ads in ChatGPT free and Go (new $8/month option) tiers. Here are our principles. Most importantly, we will not accept money to influence the answer ChatGPT gives you, and we keep your conversations private from advertisers. It is clear to us that a lot of people want to use a lot of AI and don't want to pay, so we are are hopeful a business model like this can work. (An example of ads I like are on Instagram, where I've found stuff I like that I otherwise never would have. We will try to make ads ever more useful to users.)
OpenAI@OpenAI

In the coming weeks, we plan to start testing ads in ChatGPT free and Go tiers. We’re sharing our principles early on how we’ll approach ads–guided by putting user trust and transparency first as we work to make AI accessible to everyone. What matters most: - Responses in ChatGPT will not be influenced by ads. - Ads are always separate and clearly labeled. - Your conversations are private from advertisers. - Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers will not have ads.

Boston has its merits: 1. Cold - near skiing 2. Lots of cool places nearby, like Newport, CapeCod, Maine, Berkshires, etc. 3. 2 in 1 - You get Boston & Cambridge, two very different cities 4. Great sports teams 5. Great history 6. Physically gorgeous city 7. Safest big city in America

I did a bunch of analysis of the AI 50 produced by Fortune this year (not perfect, but vaguely right). Of the 50 companies listed, 2 are Boston (actually Cambridge), Suno and OpenEvidence. OpenEvidence is headquartered in Miami. So, 1 out of 50 is actually in Greater Boston. Thank you @MikeyShulman! 17 of the 50 top ai companies have founders that went to school in Boston. The average age of those 17 founders was 28.5 years old when they started the company. We need to make Boston a great place to start a company. We need to make Boston an extremely attractive place for new grads to put down roots. There is a lot to like about Boston! A bunch of us are getting together on Wednesday night to talk about it. This is a problem worth solving. Lets continue discussing, debating, and engaging on how to improve the region. I'd like to see some of the elected officials who are DM'g me weigh in here.

I’m starting to worry about Massachusetts 1. Biotech is way off from a few years ago 2. Only 1 of the top 50 ai companies are in MA 3. The Fed research funding cuts hitting MIT, Harvard, Whoi are brutal. 4. The millionaires tax is working in the short run, but I know a lot of wealthy folks preparing for a FL move. 5. A glut of empty condos 6. It’s not “cool” for young folks 7. It’s expensive as sh-t. I honestly don’t think the MA/Boston govt can do that much about it as they are kind of macro issues. I give them big credit for working on building more housing and fixing the T, which will help. I’m trying to help w HubSpot, partnering w WHOI, teaching at MIT. I’d like to help more. Specifically I’d like to encourage and help more ai and climate companies in the state. I think ai and climate should be our dual growth engines.

@bhalligan It’s not just a Boston issue. It’s a MA issue. I am a proud New England guy. yet again my real estate tax to live in a good area within 40 min of Boston just shot up. When I sold my last company I got RINSED and also the tech talent market is a bit skewed. I’d be down to help!

I understand why Bruins fans are mad they traded Marchand. But it's what he wanted. Florida was where he wanted to go & if he stayed he wasn't getting paid what he wanted, which is why the trade happened. Boston didn't lose him for nothing, and he's proving he's still elite.
