The only way waiving Taelon could work out is if Ethan is also waived and Mast gets a two-way.
I'm very bummed. Taelon is legitimately one of the best shooters in the league and I hope he gets the chance to show that elsewhere

Oklahoma City has now acquired seven second-round picks this offseason, shed $224 million in payroll and tax and positioned themselves comfortably under the second apron via the trades of Dort, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins. Rather than simply declining Dort's $17.7 million team option to save the money, the Thunder picked it up, acquired three future assets, created a $17M trade exception and place their 2025 championship stalwart in position for a new long-term deal in Atlanta which was not viable in OKC.

Impressive Pacers finish to close Summer League out at 2-3. They didn't shut anybody down so they had all their horses available. Obviously, not a lot up for grabs with the 15-man roster, but what they did makes for some interesting two-way contract discussion.

@C2_Cooper Mast playmaking and shooting has been impressive. Keita is really athletic but undersized big. Yuki is fun, has to be a knockdown shooter and he's not. Smith & Peter have room for growth.

@lockedonpacers Quick roster question: Is there a point where the Pacers become locked into operating under the 14-player usage allotment for two-ways? Or, if they wait until a veteran minimum contract is prorated enough to sign someone, would they operate under the standard 15-player rules?

Enrique Freeman slick drive and dish to Trey Kaufman-Renn for the dunk. Good chemistry between the bigs there. Impressed by what Freeman's doing here. Size limitations make him kind of an NBA version of a Quadruple-A player, but he's effective that way.

Per league source, the Pacers will be guaranteeing Quenton Jackson's contract for the 2026-27 season. His deal was only partially guaranteed to $275,000 until today's deadline.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Gary Trent Jr. have agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal, league sources confirm. The deal is fully guaranteed with no options, I’m told. Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul and agent Lucas Newton worked with Bucks officials on the deal. ESPN first.
