Raycast is blowing my mind. It's the 20% of macOS I didn't realize was missing. It's everything I wanted Alfred to be. It's clearly made by people obsessed with nailing the details. It's been 2 days and I can't remember how I used my computer before it.

@stephsmithio @calvin_rosser Russian Hill/Nob Hill is a great location to get started with. It is central enough that you can explore most of the north part of the city easily (especially if you enjoy walking). Polk St also has a lot of restaurants. Overall, the city is awesome and there is a lot to explore.

In a strange turn of events, @calvin_rosser and I have decided to move to San Francisco. But neither of us know much about the different neighbourhoods… Where should we look? What should we know? Looking to be in the city, not the Bay.

@lil_dill Have you accidentally turned them off from Search? Go to Settings > Siri & Search > Contacts. You can choose to have particular apps not show up.

How is it that searching in iOS for “Music” or “Contacts” completely fails to return their own apps of the same names?! WTF.

@johnrperfect @funfactfm Agreed! How else are you supposed to easily sort a set of files/folders by date? Most of my text file names start with the date and all of my photos are stored in folders with dates. This is the way.

@funfactfm as an ISO8601 evangelist/enthusiast it was devastating to hear you say "No one in common practice uses year first." There are a few of us out there who use the one true date format everywhere we can: YYYY-MM-DD

This is why user testing is important. This animation only works in one tilt direction (starting in landscape with home on the left and flipping upside down). It doesn’t work in the opposite direction. @AppleSupport
