@ghostygirlfarts @STARLENATOR AI uses inference, not rendering. Rendering is for graphic engines and such, that’s not what’s going on here. And I’ve been running inference on open source models with my hardware for two years now & can assure you, VRAM is overwhelmingly more important.

@ryanlightbourn The AI 'band' Velvet Sundown scored that many listeners on Spotify very quickly because people were keen to check out the latest AI novelty. Listeners are now almost at zero and everyone is over it because synthetic isn't as interesting as skill.

@ryanlightbourn @TheMG3D Yes, while I love Cameron's earlier work up to the original ground-breaking Avatar film, which was mindless, but visually stunning for its time, I tuned out after a few minutes of Avatar 2 & no interest in any more. This is intentionally retro & campy & awesome for that reason.
