🌀 💪 This will be A STRONG STORM.
Dropping BELOW 980 mb is one of those Classic WIND MACHINE Nor'easters!
🎲 I am keeping the Odds of "some impact" at 40%, with a greater chance on Delmarva and LOWER Chance farther inland.
🫡 The Grown-Ups are now here and they are still arguing.
🔄I prefer to see this as a lovers quarrel and they are going in circles. Eventually they will come to an agreement or just get tired and stop bickering.
🇪🇺 🇨🇦 The ECMWF and Canadian GEM seem to be flipping.
The Euro is NOW slower but too far south, while the Canadian is the strongest model and much farther East. In my morning report I showed last night's runs and they had their plots reversed.
🤔 I do think the real solution lies in between these two and they will sort it out.
THE STORM HAS NOT EVEN FORMED YET
👀 We will be watching energy in Canada wrap around the Upper Low and dive south around this Polar Vortex Trough.
This is rare and in a low data region with limited analogs for the computer modeling to compare to.
Se I expect we will continue to see more variations.
🙏 Patience Is Key. There may be one model run that is a BOOM, followed by one that is a MISS. That is why I wait until I see 2 to 3 runs in a row with consistency for comfort.
🤡 The GFS Model is the one that some of those hobby pages are making money on now. I will NOT show that ridiculous 45"+ snow total for Delmarva.
‼️ Seriously - Have we all not leaned the lesson last week, and all winter, and many winters? This model may have some positives, but I have yet to see it worthy of being taken seriously.

The Canadian does perform best in arctic patterns and it did lead the way with the icy mix we had last weekend. That is why I kept showing that to you. The European is still high ranking in reliability, even if not perfect.
I will be examine the Ensembles and 🤖 AI versions as well.
