Writer appreciation day! Not an official day or anything, I just deem it that day! Is that allowed? Robert Kirkman’s writing just fits my tastes perfectly. I’ve worked with him for 23 years, about 150 issues, and counting. We’ve made some insane content together, Invincible, Haunt, Rick Grimes 2000, and now Battle Beast. And every time I get his scripts I read it and can’t wait to get started on fleshing out the visuals. I sometimes feel weird posting text only, so the art included below is a cover I did for Comics Journal that had a Kirkman interview years ago.
