@Starbucks your cafe in Birmingham (Maypole) is in need of a deep clean. Very grubby in the seating area & toilets 😞

@BhamCityCouncil Is this the total number of green flag awarded parks in the city? I remember when we had double figures and green spaces were a top priority for the city!

@NetworkRailBHM platform 8/9a is incredibly dark at the extreme end. The lights appear to be switched off or broken.

@Owen_de_Visser In my experience (with the exception of Oyster Club) they were all pretty shit! CanEat used to be ACE! Ended up grubby, with mediocre food, Marco’s was always style over substance (it wouldn’t have lasted half as long as street level) HoF was run into the ground by fat cats!

@hopkinscricket @Owen_de_Visser One day, a woman walking in front of me said “Maccies on the ramp deserves a Michelin Star” and the business type on her shoulders said “it already has two”

Waiting for the day IKEA takes advantage of the ‘Big Shed’ policies in East Birmingham and opens a store in the city (not in the West Midlands hinterland)

A Green councillor called Hamas founders "martyrs". The Lib Dems made him cabinet member for children and families. Birmingham deserves answers.

@AlistairCarns @AlistairCarns one correction however. Whilst it is probably in the top 5 communities in the UK there are less than 800 Jews in Birmingham. of those that are affiliated less than half, so the community by any stretch is tiny.

@NetworkRailBHM the departure screens on entry to the station are filthy. Covered in splashes of liquid and one has been smashed for quite some time.

@WestMidRailway Morning, delays until after 9am BHM towards Lea Hall. Is there ticket acceptance on bus services? Can I catch the train to International for travel back from there without having to buy an additional ticket? Thanks in advance

Birmingham: Reform look to have won the most seats on the third-highest vote share, although Labour, Reform and the Greens were all extremely close in vote share, within 1.2 percentage points. Reform's vote was concentrated in Birmingham's outer ring (north, east and south-west), while Greens were more spread out, strongest in inner-south wards like Bournbrook & Selly Park (65%) and Druids Heath & Monyhull (64%). Reform's concentrated support translated more efficiently into seats. They won 23 seats from 17 wards, often picking up both seats in 2-seat wards where they had 35%+ of the vote. Greens won 19 seats from 14 wards - a strong share but spread out and harder to convert under FPTP

@PolitlcsUK @maitlis @thetimes A very poor decision! Let’s make someone give up their seat so Andy can muscle in to take the leadership! Doesn’t feel genuine or likely to have the desired effect!

Good luck @rogerbhx, hope negotiations are constructive with my comrades. We need French-style #PopularFront of progressive parties & cllrs now in BCC to counter hate and division. And some renewed Parisian-style leadership on cycling, walking and active travel! #BrumPopularFront
Lewis Warner@LewisJWarner

NEW: Lib Dems are the first party to make a public bid for “like-minded” parties and independents to work together at Birmingham City Council after elections left no overall control. Roger Harmer says groups should unite around a six-point plan, including ending the bin dispute.
