New haul before the newer one.

UChicago Press had a sale on so I accidentally ordered 11 books.







Was everyone in Abbasid court a lover of men and/or young boys? According to Al-Tha’alibi, caliph Al-Mu’tasim owned 8000 ghilman, I.e. young beardless boys. Jurists used Qur’an’s aya’h that young beardless boys will be prize for believers in jannah to excuse the practice.
