@JClevemon @saylordocs No, this is how rich people actually operate so they don't pay taxes. Say you bought $100k shares of AMD at $2/share 10 years ago. Now it's worth $14M. If you sell, you owe taxes on $13.9M. Instead, you hand it over as collateral to the bank for a $10M loan.

Dad buys Bitcoin for $100,000. It grows to $5,000,000. If he sells, he owes tax on a $4.9M gain. Instead, he puts it in a trust. Borrows against it. Lives tax-free. Dies holding. Kids inherit at a $5,000,000 basis. IRS gets $0.

I see a lot of pictures going around about Trump being the savior. There is no doubt in my mind he was chosen to lead us during this time, but I think the picture is more like this one below.
