Stop checking your follower count every morning. It tells you almost nothing useful at the cold-start phase. Check your chain rate instead: how many of your replies got a reply from the original author this week. One chain compounds across 75 to 150 likes worth of ranking weight, per X's own open-source code.

@Flippa @Flippa if two apps solves the same problem, App-A is more intuitive, USP however less users due to lack of marketing vs App-B has 10x more users and less intuitive and not so great UX - which one would you take on your platform?

If you are a solo founder still treating your dms like a notification list, you are leaving the highest-leverage channel of 2026 sitting on read. One founder dm per day to someone in your niche compounds faster than three threads. DMs do not get throttled, do not need a hook, do not require a follow.

@nikitabier Unsure if this label is bringing in huge clicks. It will only convert people who have already made a decision to buy.

Someone asked me what my favorite growth hack of my career was: For one of my projects, I incorporated the company as “Tap Get Inc”—so it would say Tap Get next to the download button

@marclou 1B requests across the 33-startup portfolio is amazing. Is there 1 or 2 products that is causing this spike?

@Kyriakos_Pelek Looks that way. The agent panel layout is converging across cursor, codex, and the windsurf clones. Nobody wants to be the one with the worse default ux when the underlying models are interchangeable.

Did cursor just copied the agent interface of codex?

@tibo_maker I now see writing the agent to both the support tool and the codebase is the move that turns it from chatbot into actual employee. The loop closes: user reports issue, agent answers, agent opens PR.

my most powerful workflow so far: connect Mission Control to both: - your support tool - your codebase it can then: - answer to users with the best source of truth - create PRs to fix stuff this is awesome and works out of the box
Tibo@tibo_maker

workflows I am running on Mission Control now: ✅ knowledge base ✅ support management ✅ fix bugs and create PRs ✅ lead scrapping ✅ email outreach ✅ social monitoring tried OpenClaw before but this is definitely more stable & resilient and easier to setup

indie hacker life: - Coding - Eating healthy - 1–2h exercise - Marketing - Not drinking too much coffee - Support tickets - Spending time w/partner - Reading business books - Sleep 8 hours At this point… do you guys even socialize anymore?

My first app only gets updated once every 7 months, yet it still generates revenue with almost 99% profit margins. 90% of the marketing is automated. It still gets around 300–500 downloads per day, 100% organic. My workflow is usually: - Build 1 app - Start organic with 1–2 accounts first - If users subscribe even before the app goes viral, it means the PMF can grow - Scale manually first to find the winning format - Then automate the winning formats - Scale the number of accounts - Accumulate profit to be ready for paid scaling later when you find a high-conversion app - Be ready to abandon the app if the conversion is not actually good enough

If your saas has under 100 users and you spent the weekend fixing the landing page copy, you are doing the thing solo founders do to avoid sales. The fix is not the headline. The fix is 10 cold messages a day for a month.

@eliana_jordan The best QA reports come from people who already use the kind of app you are building. One good tester is worth 50 generic ones.

I asked for android testers for my scuba diving app. Someone sent me the best QA report I've ever received. He tested everything. Found real bugs. Wrote feedback that made me emotional. He did it all from his phone. He doesn't have a laptop

@nikitabier The rebroadcast layer of x is the part nobody wants to admit exists. You can post a banger and the timeline just chooses not to. There is no fix for that, only consistency that outlasts the random downweighting.

I posted 10 AI videos yesterday, reposted someone else’s TikTok, and schedule-posted 4 jokes that went viral in 2016. Why am I not famous yet? App is broken.

@swyx Gemini leading education tracks: it is the most patient one with a beginner - We hugely rely on it for Notesmakr (Education app) Anthropic on coding tracks too, it is the model that pushes back.

yes MRR is great but const positive mentions is something else 🙌 the mention tab from @Outrank_so is full of incredible feedback, feels AMAZING first product where our tweet wall grows bigger by itself, with people sharing real wins this makes me happier than any chart tbh

TrustMRR sponsorship revenue is now stable at $18K MRR, and churn is 50% lower than during the first few months. There are fewer new customers, but they stay much longer, like @romanbuildsaas, who has been sponsoring his startup Gojiberry AI since launch ($10K spent 🫶) TrustMRR is entering its second phase, which I’d call the “cruising” phase 😄 Most of the traffic is now organic (110K unique visitors last 30 days). I’m seeing Reddit posts from people outside the indie hacking bubble, new buyers joining every day, and I have no idea where they even found the marketplace. I like this cruising phase much more. The startup runs mostly by itself now, so I can switch back and forth between other projects. Thanks to @Sabrina_Ramonov, who just sponsored her new AI startup Blotato today ❤️

After seeing how well and how much Tibo is using MissionControlHQ.ai... I realized I need to up my game... So I gave my @MCHQ_AI workspace access to all my codebases related to Mission Control... and asked it to create a knowledge base out of it... It's doing an excellent job... and the next step is: i will create a scheduled task in MissionControl to look for any new commits and keep the help center in sync with the codebase... and then I will route my customer emails to MissionControl, and my AI agents will use this most up-to-date help center to resolve customer issues instantly. Very soon, MissionControlHQ will be the only thing I need to run my entire company.

The cheapest distribution channel for indie saas right now is not SEO, not ads, not influencer. It is replying to 5 substantive posts a day for 90 days from accounts in your niche. Nobody talks about it because it sounds unsexy.

If you have a 3 year stripe history with one dollar in mrr and no audience yet, you are not behind. You are at the start of the part where most founders quit. The next 12 months is where the math finally starts working.
