it makes me sad to think they may not get that at home ☹️ i know we live in a fast paced society & i can't imagine how exhausting it must be to balance work + being a parent but #YOU signed up for this! kids #deserve to feel loved & regularly spend quality time w their parents

what i've learned from practicum is most kids #crave undivided attention. they'll regularly stop playing to gauge my focus/reaction or seek reassurance. one kid even said she appreciated that i actually #listen to her bc a lot of times she can tell someone's not really listening

can't believe the semester's almost over.. i've really enjoyed working w the kids and getting to build relationships w them and watch their faces light up when i surprise them w new toys.. i'm really gonna miss them 😭💔
