Talarico’s primary supporters need to get out of Black folks’ comments on social and take care of business for the nominee. There was a lot of effort during the primary targeting Black women. So here we are. It didn’t worry you then, so it shouldn’t worry you now. Move the fuck on and help him build bridges if that’s the plan. The “I told you so” and “we have to unify” lectures, less than a week later, aren’t winning anyone over. The Republican nominee won’t be settled until May, so you at least have that long. Crockett gave up her seat to run for senate. Talarico asked her if she was planning to run before he announced. She said no. And now she’s out of Congress in December because she decided she was owed a senate nomination instead of actually working for it.
