@yellow_void22 I got a 8.81 in sem 2 and an 8.92 in sem 1... Can't really express the feeling of missing that 9 CGPA mark by such a small margin... Same btw - I published a paper, participated in few Hackathons - and spent enough time building my portfolio 😁🙌 Let's connect!

tired of copy pasting auth code you don't understand? built auth-vault — a repo covering every production auth pattern in node.js + typescript jwt + redis. sessions. otp. oauth. mongoose. prisma. drizzle. first drop is live: jwt with refresh token rotation, redis revocation, email verify, rate limiting, docker more coming. follow along 👇 github.com/utkarsh-saxena…

Day 33/100👨🏻‍💻 Today's progress: ✅ Learned how Rate Limiting works ✅ Explored RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) ✅ Learned the differences between RBAC and ABA ✅ Refactored the post-login dashboard UI of SwiftPoll for a cleaner and more intuitive user experience ✅ Added poll templates to make poll creation faster ✅ Improved component structure and dashboard layout for better scalability ✅ Watched a Figma tutorial ✅ Took notes on basic system design Today's focus was a mix of backend architecture, security concepts, and UI/UX. Learning concepts like rate limiting and access control while improving the product's user experience feels like a good balance between engineering and design. #100DaysOfCode

Day 32/100👨🏻‍💻 Today's progress: ✅ Created the database migration for the API Keys table ✅ Implemented server actions for API key management ✅ Built the REST API route for /api/polls/[slug] ✅ Added the Developer Settings card and UI to the dashboard ✅ Connected the frontend with the backend ✅ Refactored parts of the codebase for better maintainability ✅ Tested the newly implemented features and verified E2E functionality Built the authentication backend for SwiftPoll Today's focus was on improving the developer experience and strengthening SwiftPoll's infrastructure. Most of the work was behind the scenes, building APIs, refining the dashboard, and validating that everything works together before moving on to the next phase. #100DaysOfCode

🏜️ Today's log: Sadly, aaj jaada kuch nahi kar paya. Just thoda bhaut authorization ka concept dekha backend mein - baaki most of the time went in doom-scrolling. Honest reality of building in public. Some days the brain just taps out. Kal wapas track par aana hai.

@warrioraashuu Hey man, huge respect for that Readme, it looks damn good! But no offence, I had a doubt - is it a good practice to add a README like this on profile? Because it's pretty much what a portfolio does, so just curious, is it umm better than normal GitHub profile??

@SimranKaur_b They do offer free certificate - and its usually more than enough for any use. On Edx they sell document verified certificate for this program and it is expensive - Bottom line is that CS50P is a foundation level course, so spending money to get a paid certificate is just wrong..

@SimranKaur_b And this is completely safe too, no worries - You gotta make a codespace in GitHub, They basically tell all these steps on their own website as well. And ha last part - They internally assess if your code was AI generated - Might cancel your certificate...

Day 31/100👨🏻‍💻 Today's progress ✅ Implemented IP-based rate limiting in SwiftPoll to protect the API from abuse ✅ Built the complete poll creation backend ✅ Redesigned the workflow ✅ Integrated Google OAuth authentication ✅ Learned how IP rate limiting works, including request throttling and abuse prevention strategies ✅ Built the initial post login dashboard frontend (skeleton UI) Today was focused on strengthening the foundation of SwiftPoll rather than just adding visible features. Security, authentication, backend architecture, and planning #100DaysOfCode #NextJS #NodeJS #TypeScript
