This tweet perfectly explains why pavement parking is so dangerous and utterly antisocial. If our streets are going to be inclusive then people driving cars need to find places to park that do not block pavements.

Breaking my social silence to ask you not to park on pavements! (That’s all I’m off again) Video shows Tudor guiding down an curb across a road to be met by a parked car. He guides me onto the road to get around it.

Word of the Day: CACHINNATION, n. loud or spontaneous laughter, from the Latin ‘cachinnare’ which was probably in imitation of the sound.

Why has Boris Johnson still not been held accountable for selling his brexit deal to Parliament on the promise of “NO non-tariff barriers to trade” IT WAS A BAREFACED LIE and whole industries now face financial ruin as a result Why is it being ignored?

Delighted to find this remarkable survivor still operating after nearly a century. Located near Lancaster, the Claughton Aerial Ropeway was built in 1924 to deliver stone from hillside quarry to valley brickworks. @RAIL @MrTimDunn

One other useful thing I’ve found out about and since been using is the cards from @EuansGuide, which you can fix to the red cords in disabled loos if they’ve been cut short or tied up- they should touch the ground. I always have one in my bag now euansguide.com/campaigns/red-…

I think abled people can't imagine being upset about inaccessibility -for other people.- That's not even on their radar. So if someone mentions anything about inaccessibility it has to be -about that person.-

Email didn't work, but SMS did. I went in yesterday and the guy who fits the spex checked and it was his transcription error, which he owned and apologised for immediately. He's going to grovel to Cerium to try & get replacement blue lenses fastracked.
Natalya Dell@natalyadell

Boo, discovered my new glasses have the left lens wrong by about 90 degrees. Clearly an error as I can see through it flipped but not at the correct orientation. Annoying cos the bluelenses take ages to arrive. Also 2x more trips to optiquack to sort it out.
