Safer-Media Initiative held a virtual training for journalists on Saturday, 28 March 2026. The session was designed to provide an inclusive learning opportunity for journalists who were unable to attend the in-person workshops previously held in Abuja, Lagos, and Benin City.

SMI hosted a training workshop on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, marking the start of a series of training programmes to equip Nigerian journalists with essential AI skills.
