Days after DMK MLA Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke about eradicating Sanathana Hindu Dharma on the floor of the legislative assembly, TVK MLA Thiru VMS Mustafa came in support of Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks. Not only is this very unfortunate but also it shows the level of hatred they harbour in their minds towards an eternal Dharma that helps us to lead a meaningful life! DMK & TVK, in their very short history, have proven to the people that they are two sides of the same coin. DMK has forgotten what their constant attack on Sanathana Hindu Dharma has brought them to. TVK will also soon remember. If either DMK or TVK had the courage of conviction, they should have openly declared during their election campaigns that targeting Sanathana Hindu Dharma would be central to their politics. Instead, they hid behind secularism & theatrics, only to reveal their true intentions after seeking votes from the very people whose faith they now insult with arrogance and impunity. Please be reminded, Sanathana Hindu Dharma is not your punching bag! I sincerely hope their remarks will not go unpunished by our people.

I don't find any difference between the people who say we are an alternative to the DMK and the DMK itself. Perhaps that's what they meant when they said an Alternative. #TVK=DMK.

I was genuinely impressed by our former Deputy CM’s @Udhaystalin speech in the Assembly and wanted to immediately appreciate it publicly. But when the discussion around #Sanatanam came up, I paused — because conversations around faith, identity, and social structure are deeply sensitive and can quickly become polarised. Personally, I do not believe his intention or suggestion was to disregard #Hinduism as a faith. As I understood it, the criticism was directed more towards social hierarchies and classifications that, over time, have resulted in inequality, exclusion, and oppression in practice. Even if much of it stemmed from interpretation and misuse over generations, perhaps this is the time to collectively introspect on traditions, terminology, and systems that can be used to justify disrespect or inequality among people. Any philosophy or structure must evolve with humanity, dignity, compassion, and mutual respect at its core. One of the greatest strengths of Hinduism, in my understanding, is precisely this space for questioning, reinterpretation, debate, and evolution. Also, regarding the debate around the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, I am genuinely trying to understand why the order in which it is played carries such significance. I feel there are likely historical, political, and emotional reasons behind it that many of us may not fully know or understand yet. Personally, I prefer not to take a rigid stand or make a strong comment without first understanding the larger context, sensitivities, and history involved.
