أريد أن أقول لإخواني وأخواتي اللبنانيين شيئًا.. مشكلة لبنان ليست حزب الله، فلولا حزب الله لكانت لبنان مستوطنات منذ الثمانينيات. مشكلة لبنان هي أنها جارة إسرائيل. في سوريا، كان مبرر الضربات الإسرائيلية هو إيران وحزب الله. خرجت من سوريا إيران وحزب الله وبشار الأسد ونظامه، وتولت قوى صديقة للأمريكيين والأتراك والعرب مقاليد الحكم.. ماذا فعلت إسرائيل؟ ضربت مقدرات سوريا بلا رحمة، من بنية تحتية وأسلحة وغيرها، بحجة مخاوف أمنية من سقوط أسلحة ثقيلة بيد جماعات منفلتة. كما خرقت اتفاقية 1974 وتوغلت في الأراضي السورية أكثر من 500 كيلومتر مربع. النظام الجديد في سوريا يقول لإسرائيل: لا نشكل خطرًا عليكم، ونلتزم بتأمين حدودكم ومنع أي إمدادات لحزب الله، ونريد العيش بسلام.. فتذهب إسرائيل لتدعم الدروز لينفصلوا في دولة مصغرة في السويداء، وكلما حاولت قوات الحكام الجدد السيطرة عليها، تتعرض لقصف جوي عنيف، وصل إلى استهداف مقرات الدفاع السورية وقصر الشرع في دمشق. إذلال وبلطجة واضحة، ومحاولات تقسيم وتغذية فوضى مستدامة، حتى تبقى سوريا ضعيفة إلى الأبد ولا تستقر، وتحدٍّ واضح لكل الدول العربية برسالة مفادها: نفعل ما نريد، ومن يعارضنا سنعاقبه بشدة. وفي لبنان، خضع حزب الله للاتفاق من أجل لبنان، ومع ذلك ظل يتعرض لضربات شبه يومية وانتهاكات للاتفاق، وتفجير منازل في جنوب لبنان واغتيالات، ولا يرد من أجل لبنان. في المقابل، يهاجم البعض حزب الله، بينما يقف الجيش اللبناني صامتًا يشاهد.. صمت فاضح، وكأن حزب الله قوة جاءت من المريخ، وليسوا لبنانيين أو قدموا تضحيات كبيرة من أجل لبنان.
