Hey fam! As mentioned in our DM’s, really love and appreciate your passion and talent in building this wonderful demo. Given how early we are in building out the Shao IP and the fact that the version used is the Ep2 Shao collaborated with Dentsu, all we ask is for you to replace Shao with a different community-owner IPA (there are dozens of excited community members who would be honored to be featured in your game who I could help connect you with!). As long as the Shao IP and the standalone Azuki trademarked logo are removed/replaced, the game need not be taken down. Much love fam, happy to discuss further in DMs ❤️

i’m officially taking down Game Garden. after receiving a licensing notice from the azuki team, i’ve been made aware that the project doesn’t fully comply with their IP policies. i respect that. truly. i understand the importance of protecting creative boundaries. every creator has a right to decide how their work is used, and i never intended to cross that line. but to be honest… it hurts a little. because this wasn’t just a side project or a tech demo. it was something personal. i wasn’t chasing profit, clout, or hype. i shared the entire journey publicly, step by step, with the only goal of contributing something beautiful to a community i admire. for three months, this game was my every day. every line of code, every pixel placed, every late-night build was crafted with heart, and a little hope. but sometimes, good intentions aren’t enough. sometimes the only thing that speaks is legal language and policy. so here we are. and yes, it’s sad. because part of me believed i was giving people something worth holding onto. and maybe i did, for a short while. but now i have to step away. to everyone who downloaded, played, gave feedback, or simply sent a kind word: thank you. until then, i carry this lesson, and this quiet heartbreak,with care.
