His review on R1 was not about whether they’re a scam. You are heavily underestimating the number of years it takes to build a good hardware product. It’s not like software at all. A cycle on improvement can take a year. We’ve gotten too easy to call anyone who doesn’t immediately deliver something difficult a scam. Not all products are quick commerce/food/software.
