Give Him Control “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5 Is there something you’ve been wanting to change or accomplish in your life? Do you feel unsettled or unfulfilled? The list of needs and desires could go on and on—but the truth is simple: whatever the need, God already has the answer and a plan for victory. Our part is to seek Him through earnest prayer and diligent Bible study—this is how we communicate with God, and how He speaks to us. He forces nothing on anyone, but He allows us to seek so that our desires may be tested and confirmed. Today is the day to commit your way to the Lord. Surrender your life, your plans, and your desires to Him. Better still, let His plans become your plans. As you pray and study, He will guide you step by step—showing you the next move and confirming you are on the right path for your eternal good. At times, His leading may surprise you, but it will always be right. Remember: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” — Isaiah 55:8–9 Be patient. Trust Him—in His time and in His way. He will bring to pass what is truly good. Heaven is promised to those who do. Have a great day!

The heavenly sanctuary where God abides his mercy seat is over the ark of the covenant and in the Ark of the covenant is his law his 10 Commandments amongst other things Each having symbolic significance today. Those that will abide with him, and keeping his commandments are assured of the promises of protection in psalm 91. John 14:15 It is a mutual love thing between us and God

Many people read Psalm 91… but not many know how to pray with it. Psalm 91 is not just a chapter to comfort you—it is a weapon to cover you. The secret is this: don’t just read it… turn it into prayer. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High…” No. Make it personal: “I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” When you pray like this, you are not quoting scripture—you are stepping into it. “God is my refuge and my fortress…” Pray it: “Lord, You are my refuge. I trust You. Hide me. Cover me. Fight for me.” Take it line by line. Slowly. Intentionally. Let every verse become your conversation with God. And when you get to the declarations—don’t be quiet. “A thousand may fall at my side…” This is not a whisper. This is authority. “Even if thousands fall around me, it will not come near me!” That is how prayer shifts from desperation to dominion. Psalm 91 is also a weapon in spiritual warfare. When fear comes… When attacks rise… When your night feels heavy… Declare: “No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.” You are not trying to convince God—you are enforcing what He already said. And this is important: Consistency matters. Pray it in the morning. Pray it at midnight. Pray it until your spirit believes what your mouth is saying. Because the power is not in repetition… The power is in revelation and faith. Psalm 91 is a covenant of protection. When you truly pray it, you stop living like a victim. You begin to walk in confidence, authority, and divine covering. Don’t just read it today. Pray it. Declare it. Become it. PRAYER (From Psalm 91) Heavenly Father, I choose to dwell in Your secret place. I abide under Your shadow. You are my refuge and my fortress, My God, in You I trust. Deliver me from every hidden trap, every plan of the enemy, and every form of sickness. Cover me with Your presence. Let me find safety under Your wings. Let Your truth be my shield and protection. I declare: I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrows that fly by day. Even if a thousand fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me. No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling. Command Your angels to guard me in all my ways. Let them lift me up and preserve me. I overcome every work of darkness. I walk in victory. Because I love You, deliver me, O Lord. Answer me when I call. Be with me in trouble. Satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If he is saying “the west” as in United States he would still be right, but not in the way he thinks. The constitution and the Bill of rights was built to protect against the tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church and similar entities. So yes, they influenced the founders of our country to go the other direction.

He is merciful Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. Micah 7:18 Often times the enemy tries to get us to believe that because we are sinful and have done sinful things that God no longer loves us or listens to us because we have gone beyond His mercy. This is one of the greatest and most dangerous LIES that the enemy tells. Nothing could be further from the truth! If there is still breath in your lungs, there is still a chance to forsake your iniquities and return to God, to be taken in by His love and be forgiven. Word to the wise: Since not one of us know what tomorrow holds, it is not something we should wait around to do. TODAY is as good of a day as there ever will be, to return in all ways. Our God delights in mercy! read the story of the prodigal son today (see Luke 15:11-32) be reminded of the Father that we have and the love that is in His heart for each of us. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Psalm 86:5 If you Have left Him? Return to Him today; He is waiting for you! if you have not left, continue daily on the journey heavenward, returning His love to Him and showing the same to others, who may have fallen victim to Satan’s lie too (that they are no longer worthy to come to the Father)let them know that God indeed is long suffering and delights in mercy and wants to show His love to them. Have a great day!

Power and protection The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalms 34:7 We will never know (at least until we get to heaven and can ask) how many times God’s angels have saved and protected us against the wicked ways of the devil and men bent on evil and destruction. Our God is so good to us, the key to having these angels (that excel in strength) stay around us is found right in the verse above. 👆 Angels will surround those that fear Him. Biblically fear is far more than just a physical fear, instead it is a reverence, respect, love for God that is shown by obedience to His simple requests. See John 14:15 “ if you love me keep my commandments” even our prayers are strengthened in loving obedience “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. “ 1 John 3:22 Here is the simple truth of the matter. The closer you are to God, the MORE that He can surround you with His angels, increasing their presence around you and help for you. It is also important to note that He will never force anything of His kingdom upon man, this includes the presence of His angels. But as we willing come to Him humbly in love for Him, asking for His help, He will certainly unleash all the powers of heaven to come to our aid as needed. What a great feeling and comfort it is to understand this. Now if you find yourself currently not in a relationship with Him but also find yourself in grave danger, do not hesitate to reach out for His protection (He will answer) just don’t stop there when all is clear. He loves you and wants to have a growing relationship with you. Today enjoy the peace of God’s power and protection through the agency of His mighty angels. You know how. Have a great day!

Just as He does for us “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” — 1 John 3:14 The presence of love is the assurance of many good things. Here we see that godly love for others is evidence of passing from death unto life. Why? Because love is the supreme trait of God’s character. It is the great umbrella under which all His other attributes rest. The need for, and pursuit of, true, genuine, agape (godly) love is what God is seeking to restore in His fallen human children. This is His great desire for us—and our greatest need. Yet in this sinful world, loving others is not always easy, especially when we are called to love even our enemies—those who may work against us or cause us pain. In ourselves, we have no supernatural power to do this. But praise God, He has made provision for even this. “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” — 1 John 4:16 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities…” — Romans 8:26 We must daily invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. When we do, He who is love transforms us from the inside out, recreating us into the loving image of the Father. This produces a character fit to spend eternity with Him in paradise. Receive this gift today—it is free for the asking. Let Him daily change you into the loving person He desires and knows you can be. The eternal reward will be yours, and as our opening scripture shows, the alternative is not what anyone would want. Have a great day!

Protection and direction Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 We most certainly can relate to this beautiful poem written by David, we too, knowingly or not, walk through the valley of the shadow of death everyday. The devil at every turn is trying to devise ways to destroy each of us. Through the illustration of the shepherd, His rod and staff, David gives us the reason why we should not fear anything wicked in this world that is aligned against us. Christ is our shepherd, the tools of His care for His sheep are the rod and staff. The rod was a symbol of authority and strength it was used to keep enemies away, the staff had a crook it that was often used to grab and redirect a misguided lamb like us who tend to go astray. Today the greatest equation to this rod and staff of protection and direction for us is the word of God. In it we find His comfort, strength, direction and correction, not to mention it is the word that keeps the devil away. Remember what Christ used when tempted by the devil in the wilderness? “for it is written “ 3 times tempted, 3 times scripture quoted and the devil was forced to flee. If we humbly and prayerfully read it, we will understand it and as with king David it will be a comfort to us even in the valley of the shadow of death. And like Jesus we can use it to send the devil packing. Powerful indeed. Have a great day! ** Take some time today to see what the word says about itself and it’s benefits for us. You won’t be disappointed. 👇 Hebrews 4:12; Matthew 4:4; Psalm 119:105;John 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Matthew 24:35; John 17:17; Isaiah 40:8; Luke 11:28; Proverbs 30:5; 1 Peter 2:2.

Two paths When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 The problem with the world today is that we have been trained to think too highly of ourselves. Pride is the root of all sin, think about it for a moment; every bad action by humans can ultimately be traced back to pride. Pride was the sin that caused Lucifer, a beautiful angel, to turn himself into the adversary of God (Satan) and get kicked out of heaven. He is trying to use the same tactic that caused his fall on us, he is bent on our destruction. On the other side you see the prime example of lowly humility. Christ our Lord and Savior took off His kingly garments and came down as a lowly human to teach us the way of life, how to battle the selfish destroyer 👇satanic pride, He showed how to truly love others especially by dying for OUR sins that we might take ahold of and claim His free gift of salvation. When we emulate the lowly humility of our Redeemer Christ, pride falls away and we gain the wisdom to live well here in this life and know the way to eternal life. Yes there are two paths you can go by, but there is only ONE choice that is wise and makes sense. Do yourself the greatest favor; Chose Christ, ask Him to help you put away selfish pride and replace it with His perfect humble character. Have a great day!

True Greatness Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. 1 Kings 3:7 Here is where Solomon was set apart from all others and became known as the greatest king and wisest man that ever lived. He understood his great responsibility as a representative of God and He also understood that of himself he was nothing and would miserably fail if left to his own devices. Solomon was never so rich, so wise or so truly great as when he confessed, “I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.” This same humility will also be the key to our success in life; recognizing that of ourselves we are nothing but that there is a God in heaven that can and will equip us with all things especially wisdom to live and do great things for Him as we humbly ask. BTW this is how we should approach the Bible when we open it, with a humble spirit, ready to learn, leaving all presuppositions at the door, then asking for the Holy Spirit’s discernment that will lead to understanding of truth. The God whom we serve is no respecter of persons. He who gave to Solomon the spirit of wise discernment is willing to impart the same blessing to us today. “If any of you lack wisdom,” His word declares, “let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5. Today Let us each humbly seek after this gift of true greatness. The more we do, the more He will give us and the more we will glorify God in our thoughts, words and deeds and even more important, people also will be drawn to Him and His love. This my friends is the greatest thing a man or woman can accomplish in their lives. Humbling themselves before God, living to glorify Him and showing His love to others. True greatness through God’s wisdom is just a humble prayer away. Have a great day!

One day at a time Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34 A common practice for humans is to get ahead of ourselves and take on worries and issues that are not for us to take on, even if they pertain directly to us. Above,👆God Himself is giving a command, not a suggestion, that we are NOT to worry about tomorrow’s issues! For in doing so, God knows that we bring more harm mentally, physically and spiritually to ourselves and others in our realm of influence than we could ever do good. He does not want this for His beloved children. God holds tomorrow. We may never see it—and the very thing we’re worried about today may not even exist then. He is in control, and the sooner we accept that, the better off we’ll be. Today has enough worries of its own—bring them to God. He is love, all-wise, and knows the end from the beginning; He will help us through. This is His training for all of us: to trust Him completely, every day, in everything. Taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:8 Try this today, you will be happy you did and certainly will have more peace in your day to day life! Have a great day!

Stay the course And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 In life on this wicked planet We all go through trials, we all will have storms to weather. But there is a way that each trial faced can be a blessing. The fact is: Christians will face even greater trials before Christ comes and takes them home. The lesser trials today, if faced head on in faith, will give you the strength to survive and thrive through greater trials in the future. Let each trial’s victory build upon the last so that each works out for your good, to build a rock solid faith that cannot be moved no matter what the enemy throws at you. Believe it or not you will also find that your life will be in better condition after having gone through the trials than if you had not gone through them at all. Let us move forward in faith in our Heavenly Father who CANNOT and WILL NOT FAIL anyone who humbly comes to Him. Remember it is often darkest just before dawn, but the dawn ALWAYS comes! Faithfully take and hold onto the promises of our heavenly Father and remember how He has seen you through difficulties in the past and how He also has led our biblical forefathers through their trials. If you see someone else going through trials, pray for them, encourage them share the principles of Romans 8:28 with them, during this, even while in your own trials will be great strength for you. Remember Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! Always loving, always faithful, always ready to strengthen and comfort His children who come to Him in their time of need. When all is said and done, if we faithfully trust in Him, the promise is sure “He will make ALL things work out for the good of those that love Him...” Have a great day!

The Secret to Strength “Be still, and know that I am God…” — Psalm 46:10 Life moves fast and pulls us in every direction—amusements, money, influence, and even the daily struggle to get by. The enemy designs it this way, keeping us so occupied that we neglect what matters most: a living, growing, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Even in our devotional time, many miss true communion with God. We rush in and rush out, never lingering long enough to receive the peace, guidance, and renewal His presence offers. Then we wonder why we remain burdened and anxious. Here is the truth: We will never reach our highest strength until we learn its secret. We must take time to read, think, pray, and wait upon God. In that waiting, through the Holy Spirit, He renews our physical, mental, and spiritual strength, equipping us to face and overcome life’s burdens. A brief pause in His presence is not enough. Real peace and transformation come from unhurried, quality time with Him. Try this: Shut out the world for a little bit longer today, take some extra time to be alone with God through prayer and scripture, Spend time with the One who loves you the most. Feel the peace and difference it brings. Be still and know that He is God. Have a great day!

How Will We Respond? “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1 All of us, at some point, have made a difficult situation worse by responding the wrong way. Scripture gives clear guidance that can spare us from unnecessary conflict—if we will only follow it. In tense moments, people often expect a harsh reply. But a gentle, calm response can disarm anger and change the entire tone of the situation. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in us. When we allow Him to guide our words and actions, even conflict can become an opportunity to reflect Christ’s character and draw others to Him. The opposite is just as powerful. When we profess to be Christians but respond with harshness or impatience, we misrepresent Christ. Many have been turned away from Him because of the actions of those who claim His name. This is, in essence, taking His name in vain—professing Him without reflecting Him. Even Christ’s rebukes were given in love and truth. Let us be intentional. In every difficult interaction, pause—pray—then respond. Choose a soft answer over harshness, peace over strife. As we do, not only will our own lives be more peaceful, but others will be drawn to the Savior we represent. Have a great day!

He will be there Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you” Deuteronomy 31:6 Never leave nor forsake, there is something extremely comforting when you hear those words from almost anyone but when you see it as a promise from our ALL LOVING, ALL POWERFUL AND ALL KNOWING Heavenly Father, it is reason to celebrate and put ALL anxiety away, especially as we humble ourselves and claim this promise for our lives daily. The Bible is full of true promises that God gives to ALL of His people, promises to meet any and every situation that we might face. They are there just waiting to be read and claimed. Here are some very true and relevant lyrics from an old hymn to strengthen your resolve today and make your heart happy. Standing on the promises that CANNOT fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail, BY THE LIVING WORD OF GOD I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God. Today as you look to allow Christ to lead you, claim this promise, that was given to Moses and Israel of old but STILL is as much promised to YOU as it was them. Loyally, fearlessly and confidently move forward. He’s got you! Have a great day!

NEW: Outrage has broken out after Pope Leo appeared to quote Jesus using a passage that does not exist in the Bible. “Jesus told us, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, but woe to those who manipulate religion in the very name of God for their own military, economic, or political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.’” The first line echoes scripture. The rest does not appear in any biblical passage. The Pope is being accused of using a fabricated quote from Jesus to push a political message.

The only reason we live Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 Today’s devotional topic should be in our hearts ALL day, everyday! This topic is the greatest we can ever speak of: Jesus Christ, truly the name above all names. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 Today let us take the time to think on His name, what He has done for the world. “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 Take time to think upon what He has done for YOU personally. “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Truly His is the name above ALL names. Jesus Christ: our Lord, Savior, friend, The list is long. As we think, act and speak of His name let us rejoice in His love for us, let us share His love with others that they too may know Him. As we do; the Father, who IS love, will be glorified. God; in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit has done so much for us, the least we can do is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to exalt the name of Jesus and give glory to the Father. As you dwell upon Him; May His peace be upon you today. As you represent Him, may His love be shown to ALL through you. I leave you with this promise as you keep your mind stayed upon our loving Savior “You will keep him in PERFECT PEACE, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3 Have a great day!

Nothing valued higher Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 The price paid for our redemption, the infinite sacrifice of our heavenly Father in giving His Son to die for us, should give us great understanding of what/who we may become through Christ. We cannot comprehend the great value that God has placed upon us; fallen mankind. What love has been shown us! Through sin we have become subjects of Satan. But Through faith in the life giving sacrifice of Christ on the cross, we; the sons of Adam, may become the sons of God. There is no higher honor that we can be given. But ONLY through connection with Christ and His righteousness are we then in a place where we can become worthy of the name “sons of God.” The more we study the divine character in the light of the cross, the more we will see His mercy, tenderness, and forgiveness blended with equity and justice, and the more clearly we will comprehend and appreciate the uncountable evidences of a love that is infinite! Be assured today that you are very special in the eyes of God and that you are loved without parallel by the Sovereign of the universe. That is a great comforting thought. Have a great day!
