I can’t get my head around the Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom saying it’s “irrelevant” how many children Israel has killed in Gaza. I don’t understand how anyone can think like this. Demons.

This is BM Section, Khayelitsha - along the N2, where the Mayor wants to spend R114m on a wall. He calls it safety for motorists. But the City’s own data shows only 1% of N2 emergency calls are crime-related. What’s actually on the other side: no waterborne sanitation, toilets standing in sewage, streets of mud & stagnant water. A wall won’t fix that - it’ll just make it easier not to look. The assumption underneath it is worse - that people living like this are the problem to be hidden, not citizens the City has failed for years. Fearless leadership doesn’t build walls around poverty it goes in and fixes it.

Israel removed the ICC prosecutor Karim Khan. I don’t know what to say anymore, war criminals are granted complete immunity because how dare anyone pin their crimes on them. And no this isn’t a conspiracy theory, they actively reported it on their own media:

A new and extremely dangerous nightmare is unfolding in Gaza City, yet almost no one in the world is paying attention. Massive sand berms are being built behind the line established during the war, with some reportedly reaching up to 30 meters in height. According to satellite imagery and videos that have circulated publicly, these earthworks continue to expand, while more than 70% of the Gaza Strip now falls within or beyond this area. We are literally living inside a tightly sealed prison. We cannot leave, people cannot enter, and patients are unable to travel for medical treatment. We are trapped by land, sea, and air, while the space where more than two million people can live continues to shrink day after day. How is all of this happening? Where is the ceasefire we were promised? Where are the commitments to improve the humanitarian situation? What we see on the ground does not reflect hope it reflects a reality that is becoming more difficult with every passing day. We cannot continue living like this. An entire city cannot be left to face this fate while the world watches in silence.

Khan's removal lines up neatly with the fight to neutralise Netanyahu's arrest warrant. Coincidence is a luxury intl law can no longer afford. This proves that justice DOES threaten Apartheid Israel & Co. So if the ICC is paralysed, lawyers and judges worldwide must do more.

🚨Against the backdrop of the dismissal of International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan, a senior Israeli official tells me that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar played an active role in efforts to advance the move. According to the official, Sa’ar oversaw a dedicated task force and employed intensive diplomatic efforts aimed at securing Khan’s removal from office.

CONFIRMED: Israeli FM and Israeli intelligence engaged in an aggressive operation to get Karim Khan fired from ICC and attacked on multiple fronts. It’s clear that both US and UK governments were aware of this and have quietly endorsed this dirty operation - all to shield Israel (and themselves) from accountability for war crimes & genocide. Let this sink in….

Here is what I actually cannot explain: The year is 2003. The United States invades Iraq on the basis of "weapons of mass destruction" that do not exist. This is not a matter of interpretation. It is documented. The intelligence was manipulated. The case was fabricated. The people who fabricated it knew it was fabricated. Some of them have said so, on record, in memoirs that were reviewed positively in the same newspapers that helped sell the war. One million people died. The country was destroyed. The infrastructure, the institutions, the social fabric. ISIS emerged from the power vacuum. The region destabilized in ways still producing casualties today. Not one person went to prison. The architects of the decision became senior fellows at think tanks. They wrote books. They appeared on television as "serious foreign policy voices." Some of them are now presented as "voices of reason" in the anti-Trump discourse. And the next time the same government, with many of the same institutional actors, said there was a foreign threat that required military response, a significant portion of the population believed them. That is what I cannot explain. Not the lie. Governments lie. The bottomless, renewable, apparently inexhaustible willingness to be lied to again.

I mourn not just that 4,200 Israeli settlers stormed the blessed Mosque of Al-Aqsa today. I mourn that over 2 billion Muslims just watch it and feel utterly powerless to stop it. I mourn not only the impunity of one single occupying state, but the incapability and unwillingness of more than fifty Muslim-majority countries to offer anything beyond a single statement of condemnation. I mourn not only the continued dehumanization of the Palestinians, but the lack of humanity of the world that watches their suffering each day and decides that no human rights or dignity are to be afforded to them. I mourn not only that our sacred places and people are desecrated, but that we’ve become so used to their desecration.

@abdulslam2017 @Peleset01 Lets not lie to ourselves at least. 360million arabs, 22 countries, representing 30% of the daily oil production and 17% of the daily gas production in the world, & we cannot get in a cup of water to the Palestinians enduring this depraved genocide. We are all in a shameful place

Now that over 8 million people have liked Mamdani’s video on Instagram and more than 72 million have viewed it on X just within a day, presenting information that we have been sharing for over a thousand days, and stating a conclusion that countless scholars reached months ago, what comes next? What action are you taking? Is a “like” enough? Seriously, what is your plan? Imagine that you and your family, God forbid, were trapped beneath the rubble of your home, or your children were trapped in a burning classroom. You posted desperately, asking for help. Minutes passed. Then an hour. Your neighbors liked your post, left prayers in the comments, and went on with their day. How would you feel? Wouldn’t you expect them to come to your rescue? And if they could not, wouldn’t you expect them to force the authorities to do their job? So what have you done to make your authorities do their job regarding Palestine? What have you done to pressure them to intervene and stop the killing of families? Or rather, what have you done to demand that they stop sending bombs to Israel? Ask yourself these questions every single damn day. Do something!

I think it’s because many of these people don’t bother to repost the breaking news, or the names, faces, and ages of victims I share every day. And definitely they don’t take us seriously when we share our opinions about events that relate to Gaza and Palestine. But if someone else said it, they’re very quick to repost it and even praise the wisdom and bravery of that post.

Speaking of people not listening to Palestinians - how do Western "pro-Palestine" influencers/grifters have millions of followers, but the absolutely brilliant @MosabAbuToha, a genocide survivor working tirelessly to report on the daily atrocities in Gaza, only has 87k followers?
