He's right. Many use cases like hotels, shopping, & flights are not ones where efficiency is the #1 priority. There is often no one right answer. People want to explore & browse - they don't want AI to just give them a best guess at the answer. The next-gen UI will look more like a hybrid than a straight chat interface. Excited to see how this plays out.
Brian Chesky@bchesky

@benhylak The ChatGPT interface doesn’t work for this. We’ve already tried it.

Great to see Jensen give the commencement at my alma mater @CarnegieMellon. His optimistic outlook on AI & encouragement for young folks to embrace change is exactly what new grads need to hear. Especially given all the doomer noise.

Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of @NVIDIA, delivered the keynote at Carnegie Mellon’s 2026 Commencement and received an honorary Doctor of Science and Technology degree. His work has helped shape modern computing and the era of #AI. More from Commencement: cmu.edu/news/stories/a…

I wish X would let premium paid users control content type in their feed. I know short form tiktok style videos drive engagement/time spent, but it takes away from what makes X so much better than traditional social media. I've been using OpenClaw as an alternative interface for X to avoid it. @nikitabier Offer this as a feature for your power users.

This actually makes Cursor more valuable to SpaceXAI. Guarantees Cursor will maintain model neutrality under SpaceX (i.e. Anthropic is a partner) while still being able to develop their own models with control on which one to promote.

Great insight from @michaelfertik on CNBC on the @SpaceX + @cursor_ai deal. Only in America could two NYC MIT grads team up with their Pakistani & Swedish classmates to found a company that gets bought by an immigrant entrepreneur from South Africa for $60B. Important lesson there for immigration policy & proud moment for all Pakistanis in tech! 🇺🇸

Unexpected side effect of the AI desktop era (Gemini, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor): A massive tailwind for the Mac in Enterprise. Unix compatible tool use, polished UX with better hardware gives Apple a huge advantage. If I was Apple I'd start working closely with model makers now to unlock local inference with the next-gen of Apple Silicon🍎🤖.

Most insightful point from Jensen: It’s futile to block just one layer of the AI stack. You can't ban exports of math (models), energy, or apps. If China is already leading in energy and open-source models, holding back the chips layer may ultimately backfire into a strategic liability. My bet is US policy will shift from "blocking" chip exports to with every layer in the next 6 months.

Every enterprise SaaS company should be unleashing coding agents to build agent friendly CLIs of their apps. CLIs are leap frogging computer use as ab AI native interface & are easy to build. Coding agents should be able to do this e2e First step to automating key workflows.

2 years ago the consensus was specialized models for categories like Health would lose to general models. Composer 2 is proof that there is room for specialized models in key verticals. Most impressive is Cursor did this with a team ~40 researchers & a compute budget that’s a fraction of the big labs.

Composer 2 is now available in Cursor.

This was pretty underreported last week. Nvidia released a new open source model with pretty novel architecture decision to make it wicked fast/efficient (5x for agent workloads). Separately, it was revealed they plan to invest $26B (AI Lab level) in Open Source models. AI landscape could look very different 12 months from now.

@ankurnagpal Why is it only worthwhile for $1M+, you can instead just treat it as a part of your overall portfolio right?

Who is this strategy for? - You need a large taxable brokerage to make it worthwhile.. at least $1M+ - You pay taxes at a high rate to make the ~1% fee worth it - You need a platform or investment advisor that can handle this for you
